Jason Kyle: One of a handful of places you can order an old fashioned and get an old fashioned done right. One of even fewer places I trust the bartender enough to say "I like whiskey, surprise me."

Chris F: Brisket and marrow bones with extra toast bread! Also loved the Thai mussels! Well crafted drinks and extensive beer selection! Great service, Winner all the way around!
Men's Health Mag: Rare is the dive bar with amazing cocktails. The outdoor seating here is just a few tables in a gravel parking lot, but who cares when you're downing pitch-perfect martinis under a neon windmill?
Eater: Don't overlook the cocktail list here, barman Mate Hartai is mixing some mean original concoctions, like a hibiscus Pisco Sour and liquors infused with everything from pulled pork to morel mushrooms.
Dallas Observer: If you order the Brimstone, the 'tender takes a pile of wood chips and lights 'em up, smoking the inside of your cocktail glass before adding ice and the cocktail itself.
Brett Lider: Great decoration and architecture, great menu design, great cocktail menu content, and good execution. Oh, and good snacks, too. Recommended.
