The samples are like a full serving! Amazing! We enjoyed half a scone, half a ham and cheese roll, and a slice of carrot cake before we even bought anything!
Pistachio blackberry twice-baked croissant is amazing. It looks burnt but don't worry. Cinnamon almond bostock is another must-try.

Best cupcakes in DC, hands-down. I love the Ménage à Trois, which is chocolate with a raspberry jelly center.

The selection of cheap, fresh bread is great. I won't buy bread anywhere else. All bread is between 50¢ & $1, but get in early for the best selection because it goes really fast.
Worth the trek. Spread your love amongst the dainty but potent pastries, tarts and cakes. They're as amazing as you can get in the nicest resto's of Paris or New York.
The chocolate chip walnut cookie surpassed all my hopes and dreams. Crunchy on the outside with a center of warm, delicious gooey-ness and melted chocolate

Everything is good & that's the truth. Favorites are almond croissant, abricotine, & quiche Lorraine. Patrons often lined up, but lines moves quickly.
Tiny spot on King Street, and the biscuits live up to the hype. I'd recommend trying the fried chicken and cinnamon biscuits. So good.
The pastries are amazing. They're a little pricey but so delicious and they have so much variety! I love the bread pudding and almond tarts/tortes.
