- Erik CintronSeptember 4, 2013Pure nostalgia here. A great American movie that now has it's own museum and an awesome gift shop. The tour guide was great and they let you tour the house as it was. It's the exact house. A must do!
- Lenny GalloJuly 18, 2013Fun place to visit, but since the only part of the house that was used in filming was the outside, save the $10 cost of admission and just get your pictures outside and in the Museum.
- Before you u buy your tix, be sure to ask for the AAA discount or a senior discount! Save the gift shop for last. That way you have your hands free to take pics @ the house & museum. Museum is free.
- Gretchen PawleyAugust 13, 2019If you’re a fan of the cult classic this is a must do. Tour guide was great and full of facts. Museum was full of great props and pics. Great vintage neighborhood
- Ivo TzvetkovAugust 14, 2019The house where much of the holiday classic movie was shot. Hide under the sink or take a selfie with the famous leg lamp. Take a look at the vehicles from the movie parked across the street.
- David SzczublewskiAugust 17, 2020Had a fantastic time touring both the house and the museum. Highly recommended.
- Holly T.April 12, 2014What a blast! A fun little gem that most anyone would enjoy to visit. We went off season (not during the holidays) and got to play in the house all by ourselves!
- Kat StoutMarch 20, 2013I hate this movie but LOVED the house!Had a blast Love that you can play and explore its not a hands off museum. Highly recommend even if you are like me and don't like the movie its still a fun visit
- Discover OhioNovember 7, 2012It doesn't seem like Christmas without "A Christmas Story" on TV. Stop by the famous landmark where you can take a tour to see original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, and much more!
- SherryJuly 18, 2017It was so much fun seeing this place after watching the movie so many times!!! Great place I am so glad we stopped there!
- Char T.December 6, 2012After the guide's spiel in the living room, you're free to look around the house. Go upstairs first to get photos and the downstairs. Take photos with the leg lamp and BB gun.
- And when u go to the gift shop to do some shopping, use the 10% discount on foursquare here to save some money! I saved $31 using the coupon!
- Missy NarkiewiczNovember 8, 2015It's fun to see the house from the movie. A little hard to find but worth it if you live the movie.
- K12 IncJune 20, 2011Did you know? A Christmas Story was based in part on Jean Shepherd’s 1966 book, In God We Trust: All Other’s Pay Cash. Shepherd also co-wrote the film and voiced Ralphie as an adult.
- Annamaria Settanni McDonald ArtistNovember 24, 2015The nostalgia is amazing when visiting! Don't forget to visit the gift shop across the street!
- Jeff WJune 23, 2012Pretty neat place! Brought back memories of the classic movie. It was pretty cool that it is smack dab in a neighborhood!!
- Rick ChrzanFebruary 25, 2020Learned a lot of things about what went into making the movie. Interesting.
- Steven WakuuSeptember 26, 2018A bit lackluster. Over-sensationalized and glorified storefront for Christmas Story merchandise.
- Discover OhioNovember 9, 2011A visit to Cleveland isn’t complete without visiting “A Christmas Story House,” little Ralphie’s childhood home in the 1983 holiday classic movie “A Christmas Story.”
- Paul PDecember 30, 2010Worth the price of admission - leave time for plenty of photos. Check out the wall of continuity error photos in the museum.
- Judita WignallDecember 7, 2009A fun activity to do during the holidays. No need to pay $5 to park, there's plenty of street parking.
- StephanieJanuary 12, 2010You have to see the gleam of electric sex glowing in the window. It'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
- StephanieJanuary 12, 2010FYI the gift shop across the street is closed Monday- Wednesday or Thursday. I forget which. Call ahead.
- Close your eyes and sing fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra and sometimes Ralphie appears
- Destination ClevelandSeptember 20, 2010Photos with the leg lamp and under the kitchen sink are encouraged.
