Playa Del Carmen eats

Lewis S.: This place is always busy with happy customers. A must do if you like street food or tacos.

Adventuresmiz: The empanandas were the best we've had in Playa. The pozole looked great and salbutes delicious. Basically - you can't go wrong!

Adventuresmiz: Try one of the big specials - you get meat, tacos, pico de gallo, guacamole, a baked potato and tortilla soup - more than enough to share between two and only around 160 pesos. Delicious!

Adventuresmiz: Get the lunchtime special! Tacos, soup, beans and a drink, all for 45 pesos.

Adventuresmiz: Good roast chicken at very reasonable prices. Most people grab a whole chicken and a bag of rice to take away.

Adventuresmiz: The ceviche tostadas are amazing! Fresh and delicious! You'll need at least two though. Also really enjoyed the smoked tuna

Mariana Pina: Delicious vegan and organic food! I had the vegan lasagna and ice cream for desert and they were fantastic. The staff is very friendly and it offers a good value for money.

Adventuresmiz: Amazing food and Jose Ramon is the friendliest owner ever. He gave us little tasters of all the juices on offer, and kindly walked us through the menu. The arepas and kaxapas were delicious.

Adventuresmiz: This is a great food court full of interesting tastes and a couple of bars too. We had the green chorizo tacos from a vendor on the right as you walk in and they were really tasty.

Adventuresmiz: Go for lunch and get the menu del dia (starter, main, drink and dessert for 75-90 pesos) - excellent value and top notch food.

Denisse Flores: Delicioso el taco de Pulpo, langosta y camarón con rajas ... y de tomar limonada con fresa y vodka ... DELIIIII ♥

Adventuresmiz: Great place for people watching! Had the creamy tortilla soup for lunch and it came with avocado, cheese, dried peppers and colourful strips of tortilla. Fun, tasty and only 79 pesos 👍🏻

Lewis S.: Healthy breakfast is great as are the baguettes. Go check out the bakery inside.

Lewis S.: Both the burgers we had were fresh and juicy. Good service too and nice fresh juice. They also do a paelo option if you ask for it.

Lewis S.: Veg burritos are fantastic as is everything we've had at la ceba. The adjoining shop sells great bags of coffee too.

Adventuresmiz: Good spot for a beer and some live music. Quite a nice change from the dancier clubs/bars

Lewis S.: One big ceviche is enough for two people. The mixed one was really fresh and delicious and great value.

Adventuresmiz: Get a litre of micheladas!

Lewis S.: Buy one get one free pizza on a Sunday night. Good pizza too.
