- Torzin SMay 13, 2016Beautiful surroundings indeed, but the layout is a bit confusing. Moreover lack of currency exchange at the entrance. Really long queue of check-in especially morning flight.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- José ParedesDecember 27, 2017Second floor in the section before passing migrations, there are not very well known seats (this is DGAC offices). Most of them you won't find occupied.
- stephiedooJanuary 15, 2018If you want to exchange cash for Chilean Pesos, skip the AFEX and go to the 2nd floor Santander. They have a better exchange rate and no fees.Upvoted Mar 22
- PetkoMarch 6, 2015Forget the taxis - there is a bus to the central Los Heroes metro station for 1500pesos
- Eren UtkanAugust 31, 2015Take a taxi from airport service .. Aprox 35-40 dollars you maybpay dont be suprise at the end of Otherwise its same price, but shouldnt be safe, chile is a safe place but only threat is by taxies.
- Business TravellerSeptember 15, 2016free WIFI on the Santiago airport sucks. You maybe able to leech the Wifi from outside salon vip lounge (gate 20) using the credentials below: SSID: salon_vip Password: inter022
- Last minute postcards or packages to send? There's a tiny post office branch in the atrium on the way to domestic departures. Next to Dunkin Donuts, before security.
- If you buy anything at Starbucks, they will give you access to their WiFi
- Andrej PauleDecember 19, 2018There is a chance that your luggage gets unloaded to a random belt. We flew from Lima and one of our bags one on the Sao Paolo belt. Look around before declaring it MIA!
- Stephen 🥞🍱🍣🍛🍜🍘🍟🍔🥨🍰🥑August 9, 2016No main area to shop & eat, instead things are scattered all around so you don't know what's available unless you walk around. There's much more than it seems if you can be bothered to explore.
- A functional airport & great customer service; however, it's facilities should be updated. Santiago is such a beautiful and lovely city that such an airport shouldn't be this city's "first impression"
- David BertoliniMay 8, 2013Amex Platinum? No VIP lounge for you. But! If you are hungry: Fritz sandwiches in front of gate 19A is good and cheap!
- if you need to charge your electronic devices, you can find power sockets on the second floor.
- Cristiano CorteziaDecember 30, 2018Shitty airport. Make sure you get there after your check in / luggage dispatching starts otherwise you risk not having proper places to eat and sit. All the good stuff is past the departing gate
- Mark MFebruary 28, 2019If you’re taking a uber to or from the airport, chances are they will drop/pi up at a parking lot- but there’s usually a bus waiting (free) to get you to the terminals
- Pablo P.October 7, 2015No free WiFi along the airport except some caffes/restaurants (ask first)... Year 2015, come on!
- KimFebruary 7, 2014The bakery staff is really nice. They give up their wifi passwords really easily.
- Get close to the vip lounge for free wifi. There are plenty of seats just outise to relax with your laptop/smartphone
- Ally R.November 12, 2022If you’re leaving the country in an international flight, arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure.
- Terminal 1 - National flights: not too big, friendly staff and some diverse and nice shops.
- Carlos CerezoJanuary 27, 2023For LATAM Airlines, print your boarding passes and luggage tags in the self-serve monitors, then get in the “tag luggage drop” line. After that you can continue to boarding.
- Large airport. Pass migrations and security and wait inside where there is plenty of options for a meal, coffee or menial shopping.
- DONT COME!!! These people don’t deserve to have tourism. Must invest heavily on technology and modernizing the whole place. It’s an insult to any traveler and very long lines even on a Wednesday night
- Modern airport, slow security, seems overcrowded. Sometimes quite long distances between gates for such a small airport. Many employees do not speak English.
- Natália GuerraJune 18, 2016Oficial transfers might be the cheapest option to get to your place. It was cheaper than Uber for 2 pax.
- If you have to dispatch your hand luggage at the gate due to excess of weight and size beware that the ground workers may steal goods from your luggage before they put it into the airplane.
- A good idea is to buy a prepaid SIM card for $10 in the stores at third floor. Then charge them to buy a internet package called "bolsa"
- Angeln9nerDecember 8, 2014Small but easy enough to get around. Clear customs here if you have domestic connection.
- Arrive in the 1st flight in the morning, from the second ahead, huge imigration lines, more than 1.30 hours.
- Very efficient airport, fast and accessible. Wifi works well.
- The airport is under expansion and the information system is messed up (it gives you different gate numbers in different screens).
- Heitor BottiJuly 17, 2016Santiago International Airport is not huge, it's just ok. It seems that everything works pretty well, when I was returning home, there was a problem with the gate number displayed for our flight.
- ともりんJanuary 3, 2017Preferential access is in fourth floor and connected to VIP lounge directory via immigration. However, this preferential access counter is too hard to find out.
- Cristian QuinteroOctober 15, 2014It's the most important airport in Chile but It's very small. :S No free wifi networks and just a few restaurants.
- Domestic VIP lounges are extremely small and crowded. At the international terminal the best one, by far, is the AA Admirals. The LAN lounge is quite small and people smoke there!
- P-Edward LiebNovember 8, 2014Small international airport, few English speakers - far from international standards for a city of the size of Santiago
- Cristian SebastianMarch 5, 2017Wow , my first time in this airport , I have to say it is a really nice airport !
- Todd StewartSeptember 14, 2019If you are international, be prepared for lines that never end, arrive or depart. Not efficient whatsoever.
- Andrew RijnbeekNovember 3, 2014Nice, well organised airport. However, once outside, not much communication on how to get to town. No trains, only busses or taxi. unfriendly busdrivers, not a single word of English possible.
- Cristobal MajlufJune 10, 2013Great cookies and pressed sandwiches at Ruby Tuesdays, perfect for those early flights.
- They are working hard to make it better but it has been a while at it - elevators that will not take you anywhere or not@atop at some levels (4) are annoying. Has the potential BUT not quite there yet
- RexMay 17, 2023International terminal is much nicer than domestic. Remember to keep your immigration receipt slip - your hotels will ask for it
- Micah SifryNovember 23, 2010Visit the US Embassy and ask them why we haven't apologized to Chile for supporting Pinochet's attack on democracy back in 1973
