- The Corcoran GroupDecember 5, 2013This low-key bar/restaurant, conveniently located by the Barclays Center, serves up solid pub grub & drinks. Get the veggie burger if you're hungry late night. We can't wait to come back for brunch!Upvoted Sep 6
- Great little local. Burger, Mussels, Fish & chips and Hanger Steak are good and priced accordingly. Specials daily for their happy hour. Open for breakfast! Nice little backyard for the warmer months.
- Mia GantAugust 26, 2015Yep, burger is good. And I'm from Texas! Don't try to be cute, go for the Havarti and bacon. No regrets. 🍔 👍
- Jonathan L.August 5, 2016Went for lunch w/ coworkers. Tried the brioche french toast, others had pancakes, burger, & chicken sandwich. Honestly everyone enjoyed the food, but the waiter wasn't friendly at all & not attentive
- Amy ChenJanuary 14, 2016My friends will go to no other place for brunch and though annoyed I totally understand. Anything with eggs is great. (Follow Instagram: foodaholic_anonymous)
- Andrea BarrezuetaMarch 3, 2015You have to try the huevos rancheros with chorizo. Will kill any hangover you may have. The burger was pretty amazing too.
- CompassMay 20, 2014The lively beer bar and patio is equally beloved by families, happy hour seeker, and those looking to grab a pre-game drink before hitting nearby venue Barclays Center.
- Go for Mussels Monday - $6 for a heaping plate! Skip the burger, but be sure to order a side of the Shells & Cheese or the Curried Calamari appetizer. Always sit outside!
- Aarthi D.October 19, 2014Brunch was terrific, their eggs florentine was lovely -- perfect balance of flavors. Jalapeño cheese grits were the stand out item.
- Jack HoflandNovember 13, 2018Great interior, has outdoor patio, and location, solid food and local draft picks
- Nikki VanEngel WillnerDecember 2, 2012The Brioche French Toast is to die for. And, if you're up for sharing, split that and the Chorizo Eggs for a great sweet and savory contrast.
- Travel ChannelDecember 6, 2010Seven words: white chocolate and sweet pea creme brulee. Plus 11 bucks gets you a great burger with fries, a small salad and a beer at Alchemy. – Adam Richman, Man v. Food Read more
- Dennis CahloJuly 24, 2011I've had good risotto and bad risotto. Their mushroom and truffle oil risotto is definitely one of the best. And the outdoor space is gorgeous.
- Steve LeVineMarch 4, 2012Try the Hamburger with French Fries - Cooked perfectly medium-rare. Tasty with shallot confit on onion brioche. Fries were perfect.
- amazing brunch + backyard garden = win. Go for breakfast during the week and it's empty; go for brunch on a weekend and you'll have to wait.
- Gianna NebbiaDecember 10, 2017Only had drinks here, but it was a nice place to sit at the bar for a while after a Barclays game
- Rebecca ChadwickApril 20, 2015Get the eggs Norwegian for brunch! I will be back to try out the patio.
- Men's Health MagNovember 18, 2011If you need a place to bring a friend, this is it. This hardware store turned bar serves up food that is organic, free-range, and local.
- Great brunch! Had the eggs scramble with French fries & a screwdriver. Bartender was friendly and very on top of seating larger brunch groups in a timely manner.
- CRUZiiiENovember 4, 2015They have happyHR menus for food + drink, but don't bother with the food! You'll end up paying 6bux for a nickel-sized "mini burger" and 6bux for 5wings. Stick with drinks! Montrose has better Food.
- eric bornemannJuly 22, 2020Decent bar food. Shells and cheese is a good choice as is burger and beer.
- Great neighborhood spot. The Turkey burger is great, even if turkey burgers aren't your thing.
- Camilo VelasquezSeptember 16, 2010Hit or miss, but the chicken (I never order chicken at restaurants except here!), burger and Mac & Cheese are all hits. And they have 6 Points Bengali Tiger on tap, nuff' said!
- Peter LeeFebruary 15, 2011Burgers cooked perfectly, and with consistency! Close second to Dumont burger. Also try the duck confit...simply amazing...
- Tao GarciaFebruary 4, 2012Brunch is the best in the area. Mussels on happy hour make me happy for realz!
- Anna SantiagoAugust 20, 2016The fries used to be better. And so were the portions (i guess rents have gone up). My partner was still hungry after his omelette.
- Robyn BahrDecember 28, 2012Blue cheese angus burger was delicious. Trying pairing it with a pear cider.
- MoDecember 13, 2013Glorified pub food- which isn't necessarily a bad thing! Friendly but poor service. A solid hamburger, but don't skip the blue cheese!
- Mark HeyertMarch 25, 2017My mother says if you don't have anything nice to say... food was just not prepared well. Fish & chips were soggy, fries were room temp asked for a burger medium came pink.
- Open @ 9am!!! Sit @ the bar & get acquainted w/ the friendly staff!!!
- F'd In Park SlopeMay 2, 2010The burger is pretty damn good here (I like it w/blue cheese), but I asked for a Diet Coke and they brought me a Diet Pepsi and I HATE that (at least give me a head's up, ppl!)
- Sarfaraz AliMarch 12, 2012Based on the bartender's recommendation order the corned beef with eggs florentine. Pretty good.
