- Katie YamadaJuly 5, 2016oh my god, it was amazing. the ambiance isn't stuffy like a lot of steakhouses, enjoyed the ribeye, Hamachi shots, brussel sprouts, truffle fries, and some kind of cinnamon apple oat desertUpvoted 2 weeks ago
- I love their steak, especially the dry-aged New York. Hamachi shots are a must, and their soufflé is almost always worth consideration. Awesome wine selection!
- JonesFebruary 19, 2018Ribeye good, kobe wagyu good, porterhouse not good, Mac cheese good, corn good, brussel sprouts good, spinach ok, seabass good, lamb good, beet salad good, bone marrow good, hamachi shots great!
- Janae SJuly 3, 2022Over the last few years, I’ve noticed that Alexander's is slightly less professional than before. However, one thing they're still doing right is their chocolate soufflé!
- DeniseMay 4, 2011Gabriel is an awesome and down-to-earth server. The hamachi shots are as good as they say. Also, the 2 lb ribeye and filet are amazing. Get the O2 dessert for a decadent chocolate heaven to conclude.
- Thomas KloetzliMay 8, 2016Let the sommelier do the pairing with your meal, very knowledgeable and perfectly balanced. Might get costly though, but well worth it...
- Christian CamarilloFebruary 18, 2014Definitely try a steak, bone-in-ribeye and to finish off the night the soufflé, and you get cotton candy too!
- Agnieszka JanowskaMarch 8, 2013Hands down, amazing. NY Trio was the best steak experience in my life. Just make sure you're sufficiently drunk before looking at the bill.
- Serious dead zone--takes forever to Instagram pretty pictures of the amazing food and check in online to let everyone know you're wining and dining in style.
- Jane ChuMarch 16, 2012This location is the original and is better than the one in SF. Some of the menu items are cheaper than the SF one also. Porterhouse is delicious.
- Japs ClarkFebruary 19, 2017Love the Bruce Lee Chee cocktail drink. The wagyu is awesome! The quality of food is great.
- Peter GentFebruary 27, 2015The steak was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Everything you'd expect and more.
- Angry lobster isn't anything too great! But I do rec the steaks here; dry aged (if u like the beefy taste) and filet mignon or prime rib (if you're more for soft and juicy) also! Soufflé is yum :)
- Tilo MitraSeptember 30, 2012Try the Barbeque Brisket, truffled fries and the Mac n Cheese. Can't go wrong with any of the steaks either.
- Jane HongMay 31, 2014The phenomenal experience is worth every penny. Incredible service and even better food.
- Christine LeeDecember 21, 2011Truffle mac and cheese is to die for!! The banana ice cream in the chocolate cow dessert is delicious too.
- Rio MAugust 17, 2012Hamachi shots and T-bone steak were great. Ribeye also looked worth a try next time.
- LIEN NDecember 13, 2010Exceeded my expectations! Perfect place for special occasions. Hamachi shots and kobe - what a treat! Highly recommended, highly expensive.
- Joshua McKentyMarch 13, 2010Go somewhere cheap for dinner (Hawaiian Bar-B-Q is good). Then come here with friends and order one of every dessert they have. Add some dessert wine. Enjoy.
- HD LeeNovember 1, 2011Wanna decent steak house in the valley. Maybe portion is bigger than you want. Order less and share instead of individual plate...
- Howie BabyDecember 17, 2010Hamachi Shots are to die for. The 2-lb bone in rib eye could feed a family for a month. Awesome!
- Max PalumboJanuary 26, 2010NY rocks, as does the prime rib, tbone, and everything else Ive tried. The only thing that I could complain about is the expresso, that's a hit and miss sometimes food sometimes not.
- Kevin ChinJanuary 26, 2012The mixed mushrooms are delicious with prime rib. Well everything is better with prime rib.
- Tim HoffmanApril 19, 2011Get the t-bone and if possible have Cathleen be your server! This place was amazing!
- We've tried all the steaks here and the prime rib is always the best. Except of course the Japanese Kobe but that's a special indulgence.
- Paul MartinJanuary 22, 2013Great food and better if you can have a SV tech company pick up the tab ;-)
- ThreedukesJuly 3, 2017Disappointing, overpriced, and reaffirms the best meat is not destined for the South Bay. Geared for know-no-better tourists, lazy execs, and cheap attorneys with expense accounts. Service was B+.
- ThreedukesFebruary 24, 2017Disappointing but not terrible, and the staff save it. Steaks were less "steakhouse", more "good bar & grille". The place succeeds on tourists, cheap sales calls, and attorneys who don't know better.
- Toby VanderbeekFebruary 10, 2011Try the Hard Caesar Salad. The 65 degree egg was a few degrees over temp but I think it's better that way.
