The cocktail menu from Alex Phillips skews towards stirred cocktails using vermouth, sherries and amari. French and Italian wines, Belgian beers and housemade sodas round out the beverage selection. Read more

It's a hefty tasting menu that won't leave you feeling hungry (or overly indulgent); they've got a robust loophole cocktail program and solid wine list as well. Read more

Great atmosphere, great service (sit at the bar) and the food is delicious. I would recommend the peach and burrata salad! We haven't tried the deserts but they looked amazing!

Love this place. The tasting menu was divine, service excellent, and great wine. Vegetables rule the menu, but embrace it because they are dope! (There is meat though!)

Go here with 3-4 people and get the family style tasting menu! It is a good way to taste whatever is freshest and best that day. Very good value for the quality of the food, plating and portions.

Vegetarian food can be super exciting. Voted one of the Top 5 new restaurants in America by Bon Appetite in 2016 I believe. They always look full but you can get a table around 9PM pretty easily.

Of course it is pricey but we loved it! The chef's menu was the perfect choice (it is a fair bit of food, have a light lunch if you're going to do it). The wine prices was surprisingly reasonable.

The tonarelli and sunchoke curry were standout hits. Close behind were the brassicas and turnips. Al's Place has beautiful presentation and ambitious selections of flavors. Expect big things coming.

Very hip crowd, delicious innovative vegetarian cuisine. The cooking reminded me of Girl & the Goat in Chicago with its adventurous use of ingredients, condiments & spices.

Believe the hype. Tasting menu and make sure not to miss the lightly cured trout, grits, campanelle, and burrata. Avoid the cocktail menu (but the wine options are great).

The "candy bar" is an inventive version of a PayDay: a warm chocolate brownie, gooey caramel and crunchy peanuts topped with creamy peanut butter ice cream. You’ll never look at candy bars the same. Read more

A great restaurant with such a great variety of vegetarian dishes. However I wouldn't call this restaurant cheap as the dishes are quite small so you end up ordering about three dishes per person.

Majorly hyped and almost lives up to it. The menu is fairly original and the service is warm, though buckling under the strain of the Place's popularity. Definitely hipster - I counted three man-buns.
