Hands down, one of our favorite tapas spots in the city. Come here with a large group of friends and order The Whole Shebang - one of everything on the menu! The fried goat cheese balls are unreal.

It's hard to pick one thing here, but the secret is that you don't have to — it costs $490 for the whole menu, which is 44 dishes altogether. Get a group of 8-10 people, and you won't be disappointed. Read more

If you get the whole shebang (which is delicious) make sure they bring you all your courses! They didn’t bring out four of ours. We had to ask twice. I just happened to be checking them off to know.

Situated in a townhouse, this restaurant is a maze of rooms that make up a variety of seating areas. Recommend 3 tapas per person. The cost adds up, but the food is worth it! Note: Cash/Amex only.

Wine list for days, but there's a helpful short list for the wary. Fried goat cheese, mackerel, salmon tartare great. Coho salmon, burrata, and gnocchi fell onto the I-could-make-this-myself list.

Great selection of delicious tapas small plates. Lots of vegetarian options. Great drinks, and a very romantic atmosphere. Weekends usually require a reservation, but there is often space at the bar.

Sit on the top floor for balcony view. Cozy, rustic and on the romantic side. Get the crispy Brussels sprouts! The mussels dish comes w what seemed like nearly 50 mussels, def worth it. Great service!

If you're with a big group get the full menu - great value for an amazing meal! Makes for great birthday celebrations, etc. The house sangria is a little too sweet, so get a few bottles of red instead

Sangria is awesome but be careful- its strong! 1 may be enough. Brussels sprouts are out of this world- so is everything on the menu! Back room is romantic but if you can't get a table, sit at the bar

Just get multiple orders of the mushroom pizza & the brussel sprouts. Leave the mushrooms and crispy polenta. The grape leaves are also tasty. But those brussel sprouts are amazing.

Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine come together seamlessly at Alta. Their small plates, such as the bacon and dates, lamb meatballs, and crispy brussel sprouts are best when shared.

Good for groups as they have a lot of seating. The skirt steak is delicious. The paella is packed with seafood but needs more rice to balance the dish as it was quite salty. Cash and amex only.

2 people? Get 7-8 dishes. You'll be so full! I recommend the steak tartar, avocado relleno, duck rillette, goat cheese balls, brussel sprouts, short rib.... Pastrami ravioli and beef sliders = ok.
