Ale Tower: Likely the best pizza in NYC. The base is very light and digestible, cheese is ok, tomato sauce a touch on the acid side. It's much better than you may think reading the above :)
Fried Chicken Joint · Alphabet City · 293 tips and reviews
Ale Tower: Got the chicken sandwich with fries and a beer for $20 all in, which is pretty good by NYC standards. Most importantly, I was full but would have gladly had another sandwich - it was pretty damn good!

Ramen Restaurant · East Williamsburg · 80 tips and reviews
Ale Tower: Second best ramen in town after Ippudo by my standards. The place is huge, I think and hope they're looking to expand in other NYC location.

Ale Tower: Discovered this spot through a friend that exhibited his work in this shop / gallery blend. Only beautiful items on show. It'll make any design enthusiast happy.
Ale Tower: So, so worth the trip from NYC! You can get return train + entry as a package from the ticket machines at Grand Central. Recommended to lovers of conceptual art on a big scale. And good café food!
Ale Tower: Cool space, just a touch far out if you're based in Manhattan, but worth keeping an eye on for gigs. LPR organised part of their programme here too.
Ale Tower: Favourite spot for a jog, even though it's the most crowded in the Park as the path is pretty narrow. Offers amazing sunsets on the lake too!
