- Chris IoannouJune 20, 2016The airport is nice with appropriate facilities, however I have seen much better that this one. Nothing to die for. Oh! Did I mention that you need a jacket because you may die from freezing???
- Nico AdamOctober 20, 2016So many changes.. I like library area... that's IKEA product move to Abu Dhabi Airport. So comfortable.
- Connect to the free WiFi and use mobile website to get gate number, long before it appears on information displays, which only have two pages and only show flights about 90mins before.
- JunakarmaJuly 5, 2015nice place but if you're on flight transfer and it's peak hour (morning) just chill cause the custom officers will definitely help you go through the custom fast
- Momal MushtaqAugust 8, 2014My favourite airport in the world, and that's where my wifi connects automatically. Love the Al Dhabi and Al Reem lounge.
- Oliver HoJune 30, 2015WiFi is strong, free showers (if you bring shower gear...kits for sale), preclearance for US immigration/customs.
- NoraMay 23, 2014One of the most confusing airports I have been through. Coach express drop off at "Arrivals", counter check-in and baggage drop off in T3, and flight gate in T1!!
- Mark ReberFebruary 24, 2014Use the toilet facilities on the Flight over and your time spent here will be smooth. Interesting how fast food is fast food, McDonalds still can get you through till the next stop.
- Martin AssmannSeptember 6, 2015You think it's warm in Abu Dhabi? Well, outside the temperature can be 40° C and more, but inside the airport it's really cold due to air conditioning. So don't forget a sweater to avoid freezing.
- armagan yagciMarch 17, 2013All staff are so kindly, Unexcepted Hospitality, unimagined Handsome staff :) everywhere is so clean.
- ella septelaDecember 21, 2014Good airport but not great. Small for international/transit airport but cozy enough. You can buy at dfs with USD. Not really much food choice. There was bathroom on terminal 3. Very clean and safe
- Benjamin NgMarch 14, 2017The best toilets are where the duty-free shops are; just beneath McDonald's. Make a U-turn after you ride the escalator down.
- Dan LucasJanuary 18, 2015If all of the charging stations are occupied locate additional outlets next to the moving walkways in Terminal 3.
- Marwan MzSeptember 6, 2019Huge but not organized .. people going everywhere to look for different thing .. this is creating a hill of traffic ... need to be checked and fixed
- Jeremy Tan Lih WoeiNovember 30, 2016If you are waiting for transit, there are many rest zone and you can clean up yourself in wash room. They provide toothpaste and toothbrush
- manu prasadApril 23, 2016Compact airport with pretty much everything you'll need, including free wifi. The waiting areas near the gate tend to get a little congested though.
- Arun RajAugust 9, 2014If you are wearing contact lenses, make sure that you bring the lens liquid in 100ml bottle. It's not allowed during checkin if it's more than 100ml. #abudhabitousa #checkin
- After passing the customs, it feels like your walking in to the red carpet when the sliding door opens, lots of people waiting with placards and looks like they are waiting for your autograph :p
- Dennis A. Van PouckeOctober 11, 2023What a strange and confusing airport. I enjoy every moment not being here. ✌️
- Nimit PatelFebruary 3, 2013Departure information boards shows old information and flights up to an hour after the present time you arrive. Ask the staff for your information for your flight and they will guide you.
- One of my most favorite airports. Love traveling out of it. The arrivals takes 2 mins to get of the airport
- Patryk FlorczakJanuary 3, 2015AirPort is quite small. Fairly good food You can find in Al Reem Lounge. For longer stay better sleeping options offer Al Ghazal (T2- additional transport needed), but food is far from perfection.
- Hasan AlBarNovember 14, 2014Loved everything in this airport one of the best airports I've been in to specially the free wifi 😁
- Syed Jaffary ShahAugust 31, 2013Nice clean airport. Gets a bit hectic when a few planes land together through immigration but the Authorities do thier best and they seem like pleasant ppl to.
- P KOctober 12, 2014If you got a connection from Abu Dhabi and need to take a shower then take the stairs down on the right after Gate 35 for a hidden toilet!
- Soheil MahdaviOctober 14, 2015Etihad airlines from tehran was awesome! And the airport is very enthusiastic!like it!
- Patrick ToolanMarch 11, 2016Go to your gate as quickly as possible, for the relative quiet and calm. The pointless central rotunda is a design monstrosity.
- Talal BusaidiAugust 29, 2014If you are stopping here, there is high chance you are using Etihad airways. There is high chance your flight will be delayed. BE ALERTED, BE VERY ALERTED!
- Kobe SingletonJanuary 10, 2015If u have dreads, get read 2 almost get cavity searched. Been here 4x's & have been stopped; bags, clothes & my person checked, every time.
- James SuttonAugust 1, 2014Use the sleeper pods if you have a long layover...they cost around $15 AUD per hour. You'll find them around gate 32 terminal 3
- Invisible ManOctober 5, 2014Deserts are approx 25-35 dirhams regardless of where you are buying. Indian food is 40 - ish per dish. Pizza slice is 25 riyals. Burger King is the cheapest
- Ali AlBadwawiJune 6, 2011Thanks everyone for your comments , all comments are most welcome and if there any suggestions it will be good thing. (Ali from quality department of Abu Dhabi airport)
- Dirk SingerOctober 3, 2012Fairly compact though like everywhere else in the region there are big expansion plans. Two winning features - free wifi and kids buggies to borrow at the gate until you can pick yours up
- James HueyOctober 30, 2023This airport is chaotic. Be prepared for long walks ( unless you are very lucky). And the Etihad Business lounge is a power outlet desert, if you wish to use your laptop.
- Salman Al KindiOctober 23, 2014The airport is small..till they open the new one. However you can find lots of brands here. As for food there is not very much variety on options but you can find different kinds for most tastes.
- Tarek DabbaghSeptember 10, 2016One of the most organized airports in the world. A better place to stop versus Dubai DXB due to more traffic in Dubai. Very relaxing and more of a family atmosphere. Etihad Airways is the best !
- The best airport ❤️! But I wish the extension is done soon! Delays in connecting flights due to massive queues if buses!
- EDROctober 7, 2017To find toilets you need to enter gates, once u find them they are tiny little places often packed with people. Not a good service for such a big airport, very disappointing.
- Hisham A.December 5, 2021Some of the tips simply said Emirates!! I add Abu Dhabi the capital of the Emirates!! God bless!!
- You can find the cheapest bottle of water of the whole terminal at the shop facing the Etihad Lounge at T3
- Nirmal T VOctober 27, 2013While the terminal 3 is good, Terminal 1 is over crowded. And I dont get this point of having to check in at T3 and walk to T1 (around 15 minutes) for boarding. There is free Wi-Fi all around.
- Oliver HMarch 6, 2013Love the free WIFI - other airports should copy! Very nice and friendly staff in most areas, liked the Dhabi lounge :-)
- Michael Ariel 🔯November 20, 2014A small one compared to the big brother in Dubai. That makes it easier to navigate and you will rarely see long queues
- Jelena DzinovicOctober 14, 2016In some of the shops, you can pay in euros AND receive change in euros as well! Free wifi 👍
- MatlockJuly 28, 2019Be prepared for a long, frustrating time at the security check for the flight transfer area. Just wow...
- You might find it complex to actually find the taxi stands - after you exit arrivals turn left and take the lift/escalator down and straight through the tunnel. There you go!
