While the terminal 3 is good, Terminal 1 is over crowded. And I dont get this point of having to check in at T3 and walk to T1 (around 15 minutes) for boarding. There is free Wi-Fi all around.

To find toilets you need to enter gates, once u find them they are tiny little places often packed with people. Not a good service for such a big airport, very disappointing.

This airport is not the biggest you can arrive at but you find most of the stuff you need. If your in transit and have time, pay a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. You can get there quickly via Taxi.

If departing to JFK, passport control & customs are done in Abu Dhabi. Makes arrival simple but your departure needs at least 3 hrs for extra inspection. Spotty wifi

Use the toilet facilities on the Flight over and your time spent here will be smooth. Interesting how fast food is fast food, McDonalds still can get you through till the next stop.

If you are wearing contact lenses, make sure that you bring the lens liquid in 100ml bottle. It's not allowed during checkin if it's more than 100ml. #abudhabitousa #checkin

If you need a visa to enter UAE but you only want to connect flights - no worries. Transit desk will help you so you can transfer your luggage and will issue you a boarding pass for an onward flight.

If you have a long transit and want to explore Abu Dhabi while saving your budget,ride A1 bus. It cost only 4 dirhams. From International airport to Abu Dhabi Airport City Terminal(last station).

If you are waiting for transit, there are many rest zone and you can clean up yourself in wash room. They provide toothpaste and toothbrush

A descent place to transit. The airport has the standard facilities. It was warm and the waiting room has couches also.

Smaller airport but with grand ambition. Normally check in and security is super fast, but new construction make it a little confusing ! Notch to so however especially in T2.

Connect to the free WiFi and use mobile website to get gate number, long before it appears on information displays, which only have two pages and only show flights about 90mins before.

Compact airport with pretty much everything you'll need, including free wifi. The waiting areas near the gate tend to get a little congested though.

If you're staying in Abu Dhabi for a period of time, keep in mind the duty free shop here is probably the last chance you'll get to buy liquor not at a hotel bar.

You think it's warm in Abu Dhabi? Well, outside the temperature can be 40° C and more, but inside the airport it's really cold due to air conditioning. So don't forget a sweater to avoid freezing.

Good airport with free wifi. Transfer terminal 3 can get really backed up during peak flight arrivals.

One of the most organized airports in the world. A better place to stop versus Dubai DXB due to more traffic in Dubai. Very relaxing and more of a family atmosphere. Etihad Airways is the best !

Make sure you go to the lounge closest to your gate. There's a smaller lounge near terminal 1, with less food, but still with a spa. But it's a win cause it's less crowded.

Departure information boards shows old information and flights up to an hour after the present time you arrive. Ask the staff for your information for your flight and they will guide you.

The airport is small..till they open the new one. However you can find lots of brands here. As for food there is not very much variety on options but you can find different kinds for most tastes.

A luxurious airport but small elevators make it annoying. First class and business class lounges for Etihad flight is very luxurious

Use the sleeper pods if you have a long layover...they cost around $15 AUD per hour. You'll find them around gate 32 terminal 3

People from Etihad are really helpful. My friend lost his passport and they really made an effort to find it. We found it at customs.

The toilets here tend to get pretty crowded and there's a long queue. Use the toilets near the gates where you exit the aircraft. They generally are less crowded.

If you can't find your flight on the screen go to abudhabiairport.ae and check it! The wifi is free :)
