Small and over crowded airport. Have to go through security to enter the other terminal. Very time consuming with huge lines.

Super quick during COVID-19 times. No need to wait and all in hygienic conditions. Restrictions are in place.

There's a huge people-traffic-jam at the way to the terminal 3 because the escalators isn't working. And there's also a huge people at the security to the terminal 3. Too busy airport, uncomfortable

For US flights .. you need to be minimum 3 hours earlier.

The airport had got some unknown smell. Not much choices of food . Yes. If you are here meant you are waiting for transit . Etihad airways airplane is news but the air stewardess will never smile.

Overcrowded airport not really adjusted to the traffic increase witch took place in the last years . May be comfortable for Ethidad Business Class passengers but bad for Economy passengers .

Terminal 3 is colder the North pole, the only good thing is free and fast wi-fi.

distance from ur arrival gate to ur departure can be quite longway. if u r like 2 hrs away to next flight, better start going to deprtr. gate and do last minute shopping or coffe around it.

Don't talk to anyone asking you for a TAXI the way out of the airport , they are not authorized by Abu Dhabi taxi company, just ignore them or report them to a airport police. There is airport taxi.

If you are flying to the US, get there 3 hours early, as they cut it off at 2 hours. If you only have carry ons maybe you can argue your way into it
