Sietsema: Every $7 bowl of soup is a score. Chicken for two is roasted to order (requires 45 mins). Brined in garlic, thyme, black peppercorns and lemon peel, the three-pounder makes fabulous eating. Read more

If you feel like going to Brooklyn style avant garde restaurant in Washington Dc, this is the place. One of the most genuine menus I have ever seen. Very good wine selection!

The roasted chicken is cooked to a crisp and practically falls off the bone. It is incredible. To top it off, the arugula it comes with is bathed in delicious chicken fat. Get it and enjoy.

Baby Wale is a more casual place serving up dishes like pupusas and a fine roast chicken. Baby Wale has an eye-catching design from Edit Lab at Streetsense.

Washingtonian says don't miss: Heirloom-tomato salad; Gruyère-and-tomato grilled cheese; mozzarella “porcupine”; roast chicken for two; lobster roll with French fries; Filipino-style spring rolls.

The cocktails are so good and change with each season. All the food I’ve tried is super tasty, too.

Very cute inside, with an impressive selection for such a small kitchen. The Filipino-style spring rolls are especially great.

Felt lucky to savor Power's sensational soup without a white tablecloth experience. Don't be fooled by simple title "celery root" -silken broth tastes like lobster carpaccio

Meatballs at $14 were quite tasty but kinda a small meal. Watermelon radishes in the salad were very unique!

A mess. Brought wrong beer. Salad overdressed, and somehow they didn't have roasted chicken...on a Saturday dinner service...for the first table.
