arguably amongst the best Greek food in Astoria. we had grilled octopus, spicyfeta, salmon steak & pork chops. plus lemon potatoes and a carafe of rosé. reasonably priced. go and go early.
What a gem of a place. Food was delicious and authentic. Service was good but beware, if you touch the bread you must pay for the freshly baked pita. I would recommend it to my family and friends.
I had the fried calamari and salad lunch special, only $12.00... The calamaris were crisp yet render .the salad was fresh and crisp to the bite....I left full and happy.WILL RETURN..hey what happened.
Forget mains, just order a bunch of apps and share! Fan favorites are the fried cheese, calamari, and dips. If you really need a main, make sure to get mixed veggies as a side.
We got the Greek salad, traditional Greek Spreads and charred octopus, all were great. Octopus was slightly chewier than I like but still quite good. Nice setting and good service. Recommend!
I have been to almost a dozen Greek places in Astoria and this one is the best. Awesome octopus, delicious spreads, great fried Herring and great sausage. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Do not come here for a gyro, authentichomestylemousaka, souvlaki, and whole fish all come with sides. Lemon potatoes and artichokes preferred, everything is really great.
Grilled octopus was pricy but VERY good. Braised lamb highly recommended! Bronzini was rather bland. Overall service and ambience was good. Also seemed to cater to a more mature crowd.
