My all-time favorite spots for Nordic-tinged baked goods. I get tea here - coffee is just OK. Beautiful design down to the smallest detail - backyard garden complete w/ koi pond.
Along with their (presumably original) location in Greenpoint, Bakeri does the best croissants in Brooklyn. Possibly even the whole city. Perhaps the entire damn coast!
Overwhelming amount of delicious pastries to choose from, I love the kale and cheese pinwheel. Cute but very cozy (ie. tiny) so I usually take my treats to go.
Love this small shop of massively great taste. Lisa, Robin and blue jumpsuit crew are bundles of sunshine. As with so many great places, Bakeri is undone by success. Too cramped most of the time.
The line might be out the door but it's very cute and cozy inside. They have delicious pistachio and carrot cake. Bread pudding is always a good option, too. Cash only!
Garden in the back is a MUST. Don't sit in the back room--too much traffic. Tries a bit hard to be cozy, but just ends up cramped. If you go to a Norwegian bakery and don't get skolebrød, you're wrong
