- Kevin CanaliNovember 29, 2016Best airport in maine. I come from boston and seeing logan what a breath of fresh air this airport is. Everything is close together and easy to check inUpvoted Aug 25
- Gail MitchellSeptember 23, 2016Ha ha, I have never been in a more quaint international airport in my life and I grew up in New England too. Eat before arriving, the food is awful and takes forever. Cute little unique gift shops!Upvoted Aug 7
- Sam PowersApril 18, 2015You don't need to get here as early as you would in a larger city. All the terminals are in the same building. Say "hi" to the troop greeters!
- Just renovated the main level very nicely. TSA and staff is among the most friendly anywhere. Great small town airport.
- Jose Alfaro, Jr.June 27, 2014Very friendly TSA staff. Lady was apologetic for being unable to allow my Greek yogurt through that was too big, gave me the opportunity to exit the checkpoint to eat it, then hop back in.
- Caroline SinclairJuly 6, 2016Loved the blueberry crisp.. wild blueberry pie filling with homemade granola on top.
- Polina MMay 14, 2013Maybe it's because I'm not used to small airports, but BGR is the most friendly and laid back airport I've ever been to. Left car in wrong spot, they came looking for me and asking nicely to re-park))
- You can expect delays due to weather. In Maine, snow happens.
- D'Adre CunninghamSeptember 2, 2013Rental cars are easy, luggage claim is easy, check in was swift. TSA had no line. Best airport in the contiguous 48.
- Jacqui B.May 17, 2013Like someone else said, the nicest TSA agents ever. Make sure to separate your liquids in your carry-on bags.
- Marina MartinAugust 20, 2013All the amenities aside from restrooms and a single cafe are outside security. Eat up, then go through security.
- Allegiant TravelDecember 6, 2011Find Monty the Moose and snap a photo! Travelers the world over frequently spot Monty, shoot his picture, and email them to Bangor International. Read more
- Jon DarveauJuly 3, 2015Nice, small airport. Never thought I'd have a relaxing airport experience but this is it!
- Check out www.VisitBangorMaine.com for information while you're here! Pick up your official Bangor Guide from the information kiosk by the baggage claim
- Bobby MooreSeptember 14, 2013The barbecue potato chips were worth the long wait thru security. Mmmmm good!
- Damian BayonaSeptember 15, 2019Tiny airport. No lines anywhere. Friendly people. Not much for food once past security.
- TSA is friendly. PRECHECK is not so great. You still have to remove liquids and laptop.
- Bob PMay 25, 2012TSA today was fast, friendly & flexible when it came to liquids and other extra things.
- Andrea CarnesDecember 31, 2011Came here to help out the Maine Troop Greeters! What an amazing experience!
- Chad BloomJanuary 7, 2012They are serious about the TSA scanner. Make sure you take off anything that could trigger it... Even pocket change.
- Larry HairelsonMay 17, 2013Dump of an airport. If you leave at 8 am, security takes 5 min. At least rental lot is on airport property.
- ALWAYS arrive early for early am flights. Despite its small size morning check ins are the slowest Ive ever experienced
- KendallMay 30, 2012Make sure you eat before going through security. There's absolutely nothing on the other side.
- Don't be surprised if the free wi-fi is nowhere to be found...
- Again TSA is awful. What was the point of rushing to get here 2 hours before flight time. When they won't get you they won't check you through security an hour before flight.
- Alan CohenJanuary 2, 2012Refuel stop thanks AA for the small plane that can't make it @americanairlines
- Carmen BolesAugust 10, 2011US Airways cancels flights here often, according to cab driver after ours was cancelled last night
