Absolutely incredible wood-fired bagels. The salt and pepper is fabulous. Staff is extremely friendly, restaurant is cute. Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookies! Vanilla latte with housemade syrup!
The classic with lox, cream cheese, capers and red onions is fantastic. My new go to place for bagels in the Oakland area, good even by NYC standards.

Beauty's does not stop being consistent. They are almost the only place we know in CA worth it for good Bagels. They can change cheese for mustard. Just always crowded, order online in advance!

The cappuccino wasn't bad here too.
I love the garlic or everything bagels myself. Usually get the veggie or just cream cheese and heirloom tomato. I had the fried chicken once. Amazing but more than I want on my way to work.

Sham Shula is only if you’re eating in and is always great. The bagels are top. It’s packed Sunday mornings and staff can get gnarly.

If you can wade through the hipsters in fanny packs, the wood fired bagels are outstanding as is the coffee.
Salt and pepper bagels are the absolute best, so chewy on the inside and actually blistered on the outside.
Don't get your bagel toasted. They are perfectly crispy on the outside as is. Just try it!

The breakfast sandwich is fantastic, the lemonade is also good (but very sweet!).
ask for the veggie on garlic, pickle the onions, and scallioned cream cheese. I call it the tickler.
Love the Everything Bagels and omelets! I prefer their espresso drinks over the drink coffee.
