Worst experience in New York. Staff to slow, prices very high for average food. In the end 15% tip was not enough for the waiter. He told us that minimum in their restaurant is 20%. For what?

Portions are rather big. It's enough to order one for two if you want to have free space for deserts. Good mushroom soup (a bit spicy), tomato soup and sandwich with salmon. No wifi.

I don't know why people don't like this place. I got the mushroom and barley soup and all the favors were very prominent. I'd say one of my favorite places to go to eat.

The French onion soup was great, and the plain cheesecake was amazing!. Prices well, that's another thing. But it depends and its up to you.

Their baked goods are to die for, but their whole menu is outrageously overpriced. Plus, who puts green beans and corn in $9 matzoh ball soup?

This place is actually better than the famous Carnegie Deli across the street. Both the food and cheesecakes are pretty good. However, as others also commented, service is rude.

The bartender was sweet, but the manager was a creep making comments about how it's stupid that in America it's against the law for him to touch any woman he wants and that I was "making it difficult"

Homemade Strawberry cheese cake is delicious better than Juniors in my opinion. Staff is super friendly : )

Avoid! REALLY overpriced and terrible food. They fill half the plate with garnishes to make servings look bigger. Our food was tough, cold and greasy. Stay away from this tourist trap.

Terrible. Just... Terrible. Example, the cream cup for coffee was curdled. They can't even get that right. The dish picture was awful. Just look at the cream cheese gob. Please go somewhere else.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Super small sandwiches for large price that aren't very good. Beware of chili flakes that add to their cole slaw for some reason.

Wow. Wish I read the tips before I sat down and ordered. Came for breakfast. An egg sandwich should not cost $20. It tasted boring and the potatoes were cold and gross. Do yourself a favor and leave.

I had breakfast there. The eggs and french toast were ok, but the cheese cake is to die for ! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Stay away from this place. Perhaps the desserts are good but the food is very EXPENSIVE for its quality/quantity. Also, $6 plate share if you want to split a meal.

It's a deli. Why are they charging $20 for a chicken panini. Go across the street to the Park Cafe. Much more reasonable pricing and quick service.

Read the reviews AFTER sitting down and ordering. Management should take the hint and drop prices. Carnegie Deli across the street was packed, only reason we came here. It's empty.

The water tasted pretty good, but everything else pretty bad. Don’t even try going to the restroom; I had to dodge a waterfall from a leaky pipe or something. Meatloaf was awful

Go to the park cafe or carnegie deli across the street instead. $27 for a tuekey sandwich, ridiculous!

Wow, this was the worst meal of my trip. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. The food is really expensive. I ordered a sandwich, literally a meal for 2 and it was borderline mediocre at best.

Should have read other tips prior. Below average food for value. Watery noodles... 4$ to add a pickle to a burger my friend stated "not better than George Webb's". Ugh. Not worth $50+.

Ridiculously overpriced, dry meat, soggy bread, wish I had read the tips before coming here but was getting hangry. Boyfriend said, "How is it possible to get even the pickle wrong?"

Terrible everything. The waitress tried to seat us at the door before the manager moved us to one of the many empty tables inward. My bacon was leather and they cleaned the floor as we ate. Mm ammonia

First off: $26 for a panini? And it was disgusting. Soggy, stone cold, and not even a real panini - just a regular sandwich that they threw in a panini press.
