Brisket, ribs, and sausage all excellent. The smoked old fashioned is also top notch. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
Nice boutique-ish hotel. Rooms were well-apportioned and comfy. Close to the town center and rail station.
Great overview of the history of Reading. Of course, the replica Bayeux Tapestry is a must-see.
Nice selection of street food. We went for a late lunch and the vendors must have been ready to close because they were offering extra deals (free sausage with purchase, etc).
Best place for margaritas and tacos. Often running specials. Usually busy because people know what's up.
Great food. Rooftop bar is a great place for drinks if the weather is nice (so basically all the time).
Awesome ruins overlooking the sea. Absolutely beautiful. Don't wait in line, there's an info booth by the tram stop that sells tickets so you can go straight in. Signs have English translations.
