- EaterJanuary 11, 2012The bar room is a cool place for after-work cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and on the weekends, Benoit serves one of the best brunches in Midtown (it includes a dessert buffet). [Eater 38 Member]
- RonniOctober 17, 2017They start you off with cheese bread balls, so good! Definitely a pricey place but I enjoyed my scallops and pomme fries.
- John MichaelDecember 2, 2014Only french brasserie worth a damn in midtown. Great place to do a nice meal, or just grab a steak frites and a drink alone at the bar after MOMA. Pied de Cochon are tasty, and the coq au vin is money
- Do not skip these dessert: vanilla millefeuille, chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice cream (with crunchy pistachio bits), profiteroles with tableside chocolate sauce service.
- Feed the francophile! Alain Ducasse true bistro classics. Order the sharable charcuterie platter (with a tiny jar of cornichons, crusty bread + Dijon). Stellar lunch= salad w/roast organic chicken
- Andrew COctober 25, 2017Quite authentic French cuisine and extensive wine list!!! The escargot was small, but tasty and all the fish dishes (+fries) we ordered were all cooked perfectly and delicious
- Sean StenstromFebruary 21, 2014casual French restaurant serves faithful versions of all your bistro favorites like coq au vin, cassoulet, and escargots. The bar room is a cool place for after-work cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
- Jia YanDecember 29, 2013A lovely place, great service. Definitely get Hos D'oeuvres as appetizer, pick any 3 or 5, they are all delicious. I had Foie de Veau for.entree, I was pleasantly surprised of the portion, very tender
- Nice faux-Parisian bistro- one of the few places still doing fish quenelles and doing them right. Great casual bar - great place on your way to or from MOMA
- Harumi UJune 7, 2015Alain Ducasse place but probably not the top of his line. Probably the best is lunch or dinner (must be there before 6:30) prix fixe. They give you a little present (was merengue for me) after dinner
- Douglas EllimanJuly 17, 2014Alain Ducasse’s high-end bistro modeled after the original Benoit in Paris. It has a rich beautiful décor however maintains a relaxing vibe. We highly recommend the Cassoulet!
- Joshua BoggsNovember 3, 2020Great restaurant, top-notch service, solid cocktails, and extensive wine list. Really liked the Benoit Burger.
- Wayne HewettOctober 13, 2018Eat at the bar Incredible charcuterie yummy chicken and pomme frites. The restaurant itself is also wonderful we were just in the mood for the bar scene.

- Kiah JonesJanuary 20, 2016I love the cassoulet and the foie gras. Of course the duck confit is the best in the city.
- Great seasonal soups (French onion, gazpacho, butternut squash). Steak frites hits the spot. Soufflé or profiteroles to share for dessert a must.
- More than just Bistro food level Really solid French cuisine. Love the new bar design.
- Thiago SoaresDecember 6, 2013The lunch menu has great options: to be very french, try the mussels with french fries! With a glass of shirah wine 😍

- amNewYorkSeptember 28, 2011Meringues were once called the forgotten cookies, as they can be cooked in a cooling oven, but it would be difficult for diners to overlook the pink, almond-sprinkled meringues bagged at Benoit.
- Bradley BoughtonDecember 17, 2022Great food and cocktails. Mezcal drink was great as was the onion soup.
- Decent selection of wines available by the generous carafe. Also: free cheese bread puffs. So. Savory. So. Good.
