Classic diner foods. Don't be intimidated by the location. The food and prices are worth it!
Bartender was friendly and engaging and the crowd was pretty steady. They had a great drink special ($7 vodka).
Simple room, good rates, with a rooftop bar. Not bad for the price or the area, and located close to Empire State Building
Stay away from the fried stuff (orange chicken and such) - it comes out very crispy and dry. Otherwise, it’s awesome.

Be mindful of the bus - the sidewalk is narrow and this is on a corner, so the bus will honk at you if you’re in the street.
They have secret items... like waffle fries and breakfast potatoes and tater tots (instead of the regular hash browns...)

The cinnamon roll is a specialty. They always have specials and the menu is pretty punny.
