No matter the season, get the savory waffle: it inevitably incorporates something tasty in the batter (like asparagus or sweet corn) and comes topped with syrup, infused butter, compote, and lardons. Read more

Fast, friendly, bright, and active a meal with the kids at Birchwood bears more than a passing resemblance to the wonder that is childhood. Food is ordered via counter service for the antsy spirits.

The waffle is epic. Order it. It's an asparagus, parmesan and quinoa waffle, topped with rhubarb jalapeno marmalade, lemon pepita butter and bacon lardoons. LARDOONS I SAY.

I currently work here and I just have to say that this is some of the best food I've ever had. I can't wait for the new menu to come out soon as the season changes so I get to try more of it

The recent re-model of the dining room is beautiful, except for the freaky wolf paintings, which will prolly be sold before next time we go. I particularly enjoyed the Rhubarb Ginger soda.

The sophisticated Mexi Cocoa is a hit! Made with cayenne and allspice for depth and heat but finished with a generous dollop of fresh whipped cream to temper it.This a sweet treat for after dinner!

Voted top 15 places to eat with kids! The food is fresh, irreverent, and ordered via counter service -- an added bonus, since kids are not known for their patience.

Quinoa and waffle are not two words that typically rub shoulders, but here the grain joins forces with asparagus slivers and Italian cheese to give this breakfast standby a savory complexity.

If you are ever in Minneapolis this is a must stop! All local grown food, and delicious. Unless you're veggie get something with bacon on it if you can.

This place has almost NO vegan options, everything has bacon or cheese in it. Its not a healthy food place its just hella trendy and overpriced. 16$ for rice and beans? Not too happy.

The old menu was much better, since the Restaraunt has reopened the service is un attentive and aloof. Food quality has gone down not a fluke after 3 visits we are done.
