- Nicolas PrattJuly 17, 2013An unassuming, reasonably-priced, non-pretentious French restaurant that serves amazing food. A brunch favorite of mine for years. The La Bonne full Breakfast (12 bucks!) will leave you stuffed.
- Best mussels in DC. Dirt cheap drinks (IMO). If you see Chris or Najonie (I may have misspelled it) be sure to tip them well. They make strong drinks and are awesome people in general.
- Taste and See ™January 22, 2013I only came to the bar for Sunday brunch and regret not getting any eats. Everyone's plate around me was so tempting. But I PROMISE to come back soon! Plus, I'm 100% Frenchie at heart.
- JohannaMarch 25, 2014Had the hanger steak au vin with green beans instead of frites. Steak was so tender and sauce so delicious!
- Sunday brunch is so wonderful. The "Full Breakfast" (I substitute paté for ham) coupled with $3 bellinis is a perfect way to start the week.

- RobinJune 8, 2013We tried multiple meals among the table. The beef Bourgogne was by far the best. Tender and delish.
- Bennett RichardsonFebruary 24, 2010You can't miss on this menu. Chevre chaud salad is great, as is splitting an order of moules frites as an appetizer. Steaks, short ribs and the cassoulet (french stew) are all aces. Read more
- Any of the mussel dishes are delicious, but you should also try the pâté and quiche!
- Great brunch - try the omelet, the french toast and the bellinis. Mussels and escargots are pretty amazing too.
- Sindy HuangAugust 5, 2013Lamb is delicious! Beef bouillabaisse can be a bit salty. Don't fill up on bread.
- Jacqueline Kennedy Bouvier Onasis SmithFebruary 15, 2010The steak frites came out a bit colder in temp than medium rare. Actually, it was just as raw as it could be with grill marks. But, it was delicious. Sit at the bar for a relaxing evening.
- Leanne JakubowskiFebruary 16, 2013The Escargot was fabulous. The Mussel special is wonderful and tasty.
- NicoleNovember 30, 2012Cute little French restaurant with cheaper mussels than Marvin's up the street & $6 draughts too!
- Ben BisbeeFebruary 19, 2012Great staff & a wonderful set of happy hour deals including wines by the glass & plates of mussels.
- Marie RFebruary 27, 2014The food is as good as Bistrot du Coin but lacking it's fun and bustling vibe.
- Bitches Who BrunchDecember 24, 2011Bitches Say B+! The food is tasty as well as affordable, service solid – but the ambiance and a few dishes could use some work.
- Gabriela SchneiderJanuary 9, 2011Thankfully, if you order yr entrecôte cooked rare, it's cooked til rare. Au poivre sauce is properly peppery
- Slow service, but really good prices and delicious food. The French onion soup is fantastic.
- Ashley NarayanJanuary 21, 2013Brunch was disappointing. The Benedict was mediocre - overdone eggs and gloppy hollandaise served with French fries
- Ryan CunninghamJanuary 24, 2010Steak & eggs was great for Sunday brunch, but the service was frustratingly slow.
