- Allyson KeslerJune 11, 2014Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and music! No tvs or other distractions. Makes you enjoy your time with your company! Defiantly will go again when visiting New York!
- One of my favorite bars. I don't know what these other folks are talking about. The bartenders are awesome. Just be nice. They will be more than nice back.
- Tony XerriFebruary 26, 2020Great spot with great cocktails but a big miss on draught beers. Great date spot/hang out with friends and coworkers.
- DoubleDeuceOctober 21, 2018Great spot for a crowd, no frills, just enough to get the job done. Event space or a group space in the back. It can get busier later on the weekends.
- It's a chill bar, great for after work hang outs. No draft just bottled beer. Liquor and wine also limited.
- AmateurConciergeMarch 2, 2019Not remarkable, but what’s not to like? Neighborhood vibes. They can mix a decent cocktail. Appears to be dog friendly....even when it’s packed
- Meghan KathleenJanuary 27, 2013The only saving grace of this place is that they've got a really great selection of beer (including Six Point) for $6 bucks.
- Wish the prices on the liquor selection was a little easier on the wallet but the beer selection is decent and slightly reasonable for manhattan. (Better than paying $7 bucks for a draft PBR!)
- Melissa RosenthalAugust 15, 2015Love this place. Back room is perfect for parties and corporate events.
- So dark! Great music and the greatest people. Love it here.
- Great place to go if you want to drink with your friends but don't want to deal with a crowded bar.
- Sebastian HeitAugust 19, 2013Watch put for the black guy @ bar sunday nights: Just got a beer and when I was enjoying the music and almost done, the guy came and said: "you owe me the second beer". I had to pay him twice. Awful..
- chris bernardoOctober 10, 2010good music selection...really cool atmosphere...the absence of a beer tap was a minor bummer...beer selection was very good though.
- You check your pockets a couple of times thinking the bartenders stole your iPod and made a playlist with your music.
- HenaliSeptember 9, 2014rude bartender lady at the front bar and no decor of any type in the back room (which is supposed to be for events and celebrations).
- Black Door NYCDecember 14, 2010Come celebrate the New Year at Black Door. There will be no cover charge!! Bring your friends
- JC MontJuly 16, 2014Rude bartenders. Kicked us out because they couldn't make the drinks we ordered. Also their Gin gimlets are sub-standard.
- doug jaegerFebruary 16, 2012It was ok. One of the only good spots in that neighboorhood. (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Mike ByhoffApril 25, 2013No food, no happy hour, nothing on draft, $5 bud bottles. All the worst NYC has to offer!
