- Geoff PorterAugust 25, 2011Every coffee drink here is great, like at all Blue Bottle locations, but this has the Kyoto Iced Coffee, which is a must try for any coffee lover. Pour a bit of cream, no stir, no sugar. Smooooooth.
- Ashley RossMay 7, 2017Delicious brunch items, the Tunisian Baked Eggs where incredible. Well crafted coffee.
- Peter LangsamMay 12, 2013New Orleans iced coffee + Belgian waffle w/ strawberries + side of sausage = best brunch combo I have encountered in a long long time. Pretty happening place as well
- George WallaceApril 11, 2018Gautama roast brewed with the syphon method was great. Really can't go wrong here everything I have tried has brewed extremely well.
- Antonis KalipetisFebruary 8, 2015Coffee is different and awesome, Americano was full of flavors! Make sure to try the Tomato Sauce Eggs on the weekend brunch menu.
- Kanichi NakataNovember 13, 2011Truly excellent coffee. They put a lot of care into making each cup and it definitely shows. The brunch menu is also an often overlooked treasure, just don't expect seating for more than 2-3 people.
- Can HüzmeliMay 19, 2014Best coffee i ever tasted, the first that i liked more than Turkish COFFEE. The staff was helpfull. And the white haired cashier looks so mysterious.
- They have full breakfast and lunch menus. For breakfast, the French toast is amazing.
- One of my favorite places in SFO. Good breakfast, great atmosphere and obviously the coffee. Start your SFO day here.
- Enjoy an affogato on a hot day. Also can't go wrong with their New Orleans iced coffee.
- Mark KellemsJune 23, 2013Best espresso in the city. Get it from the San Marco machine. Staff is very friendly and incredibly knowledgable. Steven was the best!
- Iris Y.May 2, 2013Order a Gibraltar (perfect drink for the summer when you don't want an iced coffee) and sip it by the window while watching people walk by.
- 𝙶𝚘𝚗𝚣𝚊𝚕𝚘 𝙰𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚊𝚜December 11, 2022If you like Blue Bottle, and are ever in Berlin - check out The Barn.
- Go here for a decent cup of coffee, but I would encourage you to try Special Xtra for a better espresso
- Rachael LeonieFebruary 23, 2015Come early as you'll have to wait for your coffee, but don't worry --it's worth it!!
- Anneliese NieAugust 30, 2013I already see tips about the iced coffee, but I cannot emphasize how delightful it is, especially on a warm day when you sip on it outside in Mint Plaza
- Eric FriedmanNovember 4, 2013Try the New Orleans Iced coffee for a staple of this place. Its a crowded, noisy, bustling coffee spot that people love. While online, come up with a billion dollar startup idea + meet your cofounder
- Carole LoomisMarch 4, 2016The coffee is truly worth waiting for. No need for a double latte, one is nice and strong. Food is limited, but good.
- Stijn Ortega coppinJune 1, 2015Very drinkable coffee. A rare commodity in the U.S. Good spot to have a quick breakfast as well
- Hiroyoshi SuzukiJune 28, 2013Fancier than philz. Usually lighter roast than peets or philz. Originally from Oakland! Very knowledgeable staff. A lot snobs like me like to go here
- TillApril 12, 2015The coffee is delicious and so is the breakfast sandwich! (I had to counter the latter with a few antacids though :-/ ).
- The Acme toast here is insane. I know it seems pricey.. But it's the best slice of bread an butter you'll find downtown. Even better with a poached egg on top.
- Rich MondorJanuary 31, 2016Wow this place is a coffee lovers dream! Get the syphone coffee of the day. Watch the magic to make this coffee, enjoy the results!
- Stephen BarnesJanuary 18, 2015Siphon brewed coffee is their specialty, and you should definitely experience it.
- Awesome, amazing espresso, talk to these guys. Rumor said they would like to refuse to serve coffee for those folks who have no idea about coffee.
- Shelly ZordichAugust 27, 2014Their delicious (and pretty) mocha with a good book makes the perfect afternoon.
- c0uPJune 22, 2014Want to be especially douchey? Get the SG-120! In all seriousness, it's kinda great. Like a slightly taller Gibraltar.
- tina huangOctober 15, 2015this place can get pretty crowded, thankful for the no wifi situation! grab a pour over at their outdoor stand -- wider selection, less wait time.
- K ZiggyMay 1, 2013You know there will be great coffee when there is a line @ 6:55 am before the shop opens @ 7am. New Orleans iced coffee is yummy
- Breakfast sandwich is serviceable (bacon is good) but a bit too oily. Frittata is also too dense. Better than many but not top notch.
- Toast and poached eggs. very very tasty. you can also see various SF Bay/Silicon Valley luminaries like @Jack Dorsey if you keep your eyes open.
- Try the Poached Eggs & Cornbread - Couldn't ask for a more perfect breakfast today... Well, except maybe if it had hollandaise too, but that's just being greedy..
- TaylorJune 5, 2012Yes, the coffee is great. Did you also know the poached eggs with sausage and polenta is just as good? Breakfast service starts at 8.
- LolosaurrOctober 4, 2014This one sees quite a bit of a queue, likely due to the more accessible location. Indoor sitting is limited and quite warm. I'd recommend to-go only. Try other BB spots for a better experience.
- Best Belgium waffle in town, if 2 persons need extra strawberry one of them should order only which is enough for both
- herm pugayNovember 2, 2014The taste of the blue bottle latte and the pretzel bun. I keep coming back.
- Dasha K. ⚾May 17, 2013If you don't wanna stand in a line go to Mo'z cafe just around the corner on 5th street. Great coffee and breakfast!
- Steve AndroulakisAugust 6, 2014Get a cortado. It's like a small, strong latte (unlike in Spain where it's mostly espresso with a 'stain' of milk).
- Bill ButtonJune 19, 2018Food is good. However Both times I’ve been here they’ve screwed up my order and both times you eat your food looking over your shoulder for your coffee. It’s great when they get there though.
- Ryan BiegaApril 5, 2013The poached eggs and toast are delicious. I always get the New Orleans Iced Coffee no matter what the weather is like.
- Matthew HuieJune 18, 2016Great location! If the line is long, the cart outside serves cold brew and pour over!
- YC LianSeptember 29, 2014They only have one type of pour-over a day. Things run faster here so you might not get the extraction you desire from the beans. Try Sightglass instead, their baristas bother to explain..
- Erik CoxMarch 17, 2014Two notes about buying beans here: 1) You don't have to wait in line if you're only getting beans, just go up to the register. 2) They will not grind it for you.
- Sandra FransenFebruary 20, 2016Best breakfast sandwich in SF so far, excellent with the Gibraltar coffee.
