- LifeApril 29, 2013Taste many kinds of Colombian coffee in Juan Valdez coffee shop. Also buy some to take home :)
- Vasily KotovFebruary 4, 2022The luggage storage room at the first floor. 15000 COP per 12 hours, cash only
- Kamilo AmirAugust 22, 2013When you go to claim your IVA (taxes), make sure to have the items you bought with you. The offices are directly under the giant Samsung TV.
- ana carolina heviaJanuary 21, 2013If u need wi-fi and wine (or alcohol), go to gate 44. You'll find this calm and handy "bistro".
- Нельсон АпонтеSeptember 1, 2023Find the reclined seats with view to the tarmac in the international departure area.
- Tomas BorbaAugust 19, 2014The WiFi is free, but painfully slow and there it no other option unless you have VIP lounge access. The building is modern and nice, with plenty of space and chairs...but lacks outlets.
- Food is overpriced at the few restaurants once you've passed through the emigration checkpoint. Try eating at the restaurants next to the airline check-in counters
- Penny YuanAugust 23, 2013If you've been in Colombia for less than 60 days, make sure you get a tax exempt stamp prior to check-in / bag drop. It'll expedite your process!
- Carl IngberMarch 16, 2010Interesting fact, since Bogota has high elevation, you will experience a rough and fast landing. Plane will still be doing 3-400mph at 5-6k feet, its a little crazy.
- Free Wi-Fi, a bit aloe, bit FREE, no hassle, no passowrd, no time limit #thewayitshouldbe
- Bryan AyalaJanuary 11, 2014Tax exemption is fantastic! !!! Gotta love that besides the free high-speed wi-fi all over the airport! !!!!
- Go through immigration as early as you can. It tends to get very congested and you won't miss your flight.
- Good shopping... Lounge very crowded - is everyone in Colombia gold star member? Maybe that's why they have Diamond ?
- Nitin AlaburMay 24, 2013Don't get scared if the fire alarms are triggered. Fire exits are used casually by the airport employees & the alarms go on often, last for a few seconds. हम जैसे लोगों को कुछ फरक नहीं पड़ेगा 😉
- Diego RApril 8, 2013There is free WIFI. After passport control there aren't many places to eat so make sure you grab something before that.
- Get an uber to go to town. Yellow cabs are unsafe and the driver will surely try to rip you off if you are a foreigner
- If you need a cab you can write me a msn by whatsapp, tango or line and I can give you a preferencial service! Mobile: +57 300 501 0783
- David CAugust 17, 2014If you get here before noon there's free wifi. After that your mileage may vary since it crawls to a stop.
- At gate 8 national departures is offered free of charge free flaw water dispenser...I find this great :)
- Very nice airport. It's clean and has lots of open spaces. FREE wifi!
- Patrick WardAugust 4, 2015Airport is new but not well designed. There are lots of shops but poor, limited food options. There is an "American bistro" restaurant/bar near gate 44
- Arrive 2 hours in advance for national flights, 3 hours international flights.. But flights are usually on time!
- Store your luggage on 1st floor for long delays and go see the town or just relax.
- Alexandre de OliveiraAugust 1, 2014ElCorral's wifi password is LaReceta. The internet is pretty bad but you can check your emails.
- It is a shame(and a stupid decision) that there isn't a single colombian restaurant in the entire international terminal, i was very disappointed. At least there is good Juan Valdez Coffee.
- International vaccination and certificates available on gate 5, 2nd floor. Look for "Hospital Fontibon"
- TAXI to BOGOTA: do not take the taxi where the men are offering service. Stand in line outside. Cost is less and service is good. Cost range $5-12USD
- Kokoriko's bar and Bogotá Beer Company pub will be your best waiting room.
- Avoid the guys who offer taxi rides in white cars, they will overcharge you. stick to the yellow ones at door 3
- Laura KathAugust 4, 2013Kuddos for having free Wi-Fi compared to other airports I have been in but TERRIBLE having to deal with construction smoke in waiting areas ...
- Kell SønnichsenAugust 5, 2013New international terminal. Security and passport control is quick and smooth.
- Adrián Maguiña AsenciosOctober 15, 2013Taxis will charge you more than normal if you dont see the chart at the back of the front seats. I paid 10 dollars instead of 5 because I didn't know there was a chart with the prices in every taxi.
- Camilo SmithOctober 27, 2014Here's a good explainer about that airport tax exemption http://www.hedgehogswithoutborders.com/blog/entry/avoid+paying+the+exit+tax+in+colombia
