White kids wearing flannel drinking beer. That's about it. Although it is a pretty big open space to just hang out and chill if you're bored around Astoria.

This place is a classic establishment - the beer selection is not large, but what they have is great. I like the Franziskaner with the potato pierogies.

It's a land mark beer garden with great food that has a large out door area. I was there on a Saturday and there were lots of people there.

This place isn't cheap although it looks like it should be. Be prepared to spend at least $30. The atmosphere is great though and the outdoor seating/music is worth it. Usually kid friendly.

People, tip the people behind the grill. And burgers (big) are from scratch, so order the sausages to avoid a long wait.
