great basement bar in the hood. gets really packed sometimes, but that's part of what makes it cool, i think. there's hardly any cell service in here, so use the phone number as the wifi password

Perfect little spot to get out of the bustle of NYC and unwind a little with a beer or cocktail. Dimly lit, with wifi, and clean bathrooms. Ideal kinda bar for an idle Tuesday.

The Ginger Yum Yum is delicious, and they make a mean Dark and Stormy. Can get pretty crowded and loud, but always chill.

Ginger yum yum is a pretty tasty drink. If you're visiting New York, don't forget to tip the long haired bartender or he'll bitch at you all night long about it.

It's a dive bar that has a great, not that grungy vibe on the weekends. Drinks are cheap. The huge mug of delicious dark & stormy for $8 is the clear read.

When Danny D is working, this place can’t be beat. Great music, never the same type of people. After work is a little crazy, but clears out around 830 then picks up for late night

Most people come here for the great happy hour specials...but there's much more charm than that if you come on a busier night and even check out the back room.

This is one of the places that serves as the best antidote to Soho mixologist douchery. Get a beer and a Makers neat and be pleasantly surprised to still have cash afterwards

Well drinks, wine, and beer are $4 during happy hour (which ends at 8!). The dark and stormy will also mess you up good.

One of the best happy hours in the city. Cocktails tend to be heavy handed, in case you don't like your drinks stiff. Cellphone service sucks but pretty sure wifi password is the phone number.

This is the best spot in NOHO SOHO to have an affordable beer and enjoy the sights and sounds of NYC. Also good place to drink over 6 beers if you are in that mood.SAM
