- David A. SymonsAugust 23, 2016Amazing find in the heart of Soho! Beautiful interior, busy atmosphere and delicious French cuisine - will be back! 👍🏼
- Mag WalczakApril 23, 2016If you would like to transfer yourself straight to interior of grand Budapest hotel, there it is hidden underground in the middle of London. Food is good prices are normal and service is wonderful.
- M UJanuary 20, 2018Desserts are good. Profiterole is amazing! Food is not the best. Avoid the chopped steak, it's basically burger meat. Atmosphere is really nice. Table cloth is made of paper, does not suit the place.
- Marc NgAugust 6, 2019Great choice of French cuisine favourites. Reasonably priced for the type of cuisine and standard of food. Great service. Child friendly staff. The bone marrow and the snails are delicious.
- ElifJanuary 17, 2016By chance we had a table for 10 and had an amazing night. Ambiance is great, tastes are good. Give it a try if you miss Frech tastes. Onion Soup is my favourite.
- Steffi CJanuary 7, 2016Great French restaurant, very good value. Sign up to their mailing lid to find out about special events- 6th January if you wear a crown you eat for free (to celebrate la fête des Rois)
- Lenaki TziaferiJuly 17, 2019The dish with the snails was the best. The set menu definitely worths its value! However, I think that the menu is a bit old fashioned. The place is busy and the service doesn’t worth the 15% charge
- Phillip MastersJune 22, 2023Very good food, it looks delicious and tasted good. Service was excellent and the sourdough bread and salted butter was delicious. The place is something to see and enjoy well worth a visit
- Sugar ReiDecember 5, 2014Amazing croissants and coffee. Beautiful interiors and great French-ish atmosphere. Also lovely girl serving me, she took the time to choose the best looking pastry for me:)
- Rachel RussellFebruary 1, 2017What is not to like about each of these businesses within the Zedel building? Zedel has a lively atmosphere in a stunning dining room. Food is v good & value for money. Daily specials and good choices
- BDecember 3, 2018Nice bread. Very good portion if you order pork selections. Daily dishes include rabbits which can be a bit difficult to enjoy as they have tiny bones.
- New favourite- Cherry cup with Champagne - gorgeous rich sorbet with a lake of Pommery surrounding. The most intense cherry pudding I've ever tried.
- Pete MarcusNovember 19, 2012Wonderful value - traditional French food for stunningly good prices, served in a beautiful art deco room with the kind of buzz you'd expect from the team behind The Wolseley.
- JustinasFebruary 2, 2015Great french food place. Had great oysters, and a choice of foods. It wasn't the best french food ever but it wasn't pricey either. Service really great. Cocktails in nearby American are just amazing!
- Joyce IpAugust 23, 2016Lovely French cuisine, beautifully baked sea bass with salsa. Perfect with a glass of white
- Vic McGinJuly 6, 2016Who would have thought this French gem lies beneath everyone's feet in the busy and brash Piccadilly. Take a date, take your friends, take your family. Insanely good value.
- Joyce ChengDecember 20, 2014Really cute date spot for adorable old couples! Loved the ambience and the food was really good value. £8.25 set menu for steak and desert
- Anthony LenaghanSeptember 22, 2019The onion soup and the croque monsieur are superb, and very reasonably priced.
- Cooper The BulldogDecember 17, 2018Transfer yourself to the late 20s-30s, this place provides an atmosphere you can rarely find. We had a late dinner and the food was good, not excellent though. Anyhow the surrounding is what’s worth.
- Best restaurant in London - try the steak haché, beef bourguignon, cote de boeuf, salmon en croute...and ALWAYS have the lobster bisque to start!
- Iwona RokowskaJune 25, 2019set menu is a very good value for money. food is really good, (unlimited bread) and live piano music is amazing!
- James CrollApril 23, 2022Fantastic setting, lovely French men. Recommendations bone marrow and confit onions and ox cheek with garlic mash.

- Azhar BayJanuary 16, 2020The perfect atmosphere inside, love interior inside, an unusual combination of white fish and almond nuts☺️
- Magdalena WelczFebruary 18, 2019Good value, beautiful interior. Starters were just okay, but mains were very good. Take meat main as I think this is their strongest side. Nice stuff but they were running like crazy; its a busy spot
- Evening StandardAugust 31, 2012You can get a great meal here without breaking the bank, with starters from £2.25, wine from £3 a glass, and the delicious onglet (aka hangar steak) for just £10.95. Read more
- Anna SzypkowskaSeptember 13, 2017Amazing steak and beautiful tarte tating. But the best of all is the setting - great ambiance!
- Melissa ThamesAugust 29, 2015I highly recommend the fresh cheese plate. They bring a cart to you to select from. Braised beef was delicious and garlic escargot appetizer
- Iwona RokowskaJune 25, 2019set menu is a good value for money. interior is amazing and i loved live piano music
- Dimitri PopovSeptember 20, 2013An exceptional French cousin in 3-minutes from Picadilli Circus, w/ great service and cozy atmosphere. But PRICES! Something that makes me think of London as not that really expensive place...
- George KyriakosSeptember 1, 2018Good croque monsieur, and good sausage rolls. Pain au chocolat was not as fresh as it should have been for something that costs £3.50, but the overall decor makes up for it.
- Nicola Ní CheallaighJune 20, 2015Very affordable and great quality for London, especially for the location. The desserts are fab, especially the tarte tatin and the profiteroles.
- OliverDecember 17, 2014Worth a visit. Really great atmosphere, chic art deco very classy. The food cannot match the class of the interior however. Very buzzy.
- Armelle De OliveiraJanuary 10, 2018It feels like a typical Parisian café near Montmartre ! A little bit of home in London. And they sell traditional baguettes !
- If you want the experience of an authentic Parisienne brasserie without a Eurostar ticket, this is the only way to go. (And actually the food is better than in Paris!)
- George KyriakosApril 4, 2018Croque Monsieur is an absolute must for breakfast. Eggs also well done and presented, but felt the viennoise options are unjustifiably expensive (£3.50 for a pain au chocolat) and not that great.
- Fernando NaranjoJanuary 15, 2020Steak Haché!. Great atmosphere... I love the energy of this place in Piccadilly Circus. Good price for the experience.
- Christiane LinkOctober 25, 2014Amazing food. I love the steak haché. Try the mousse au chocolat. Table booking recommended. Fully wheelchair accessible.
- Oğulcan GirginçJune 5, 2015Loved the design. Also, it's really fun to have an espresso while sitting outside & watching people passing by.
- Anton DegtyarevJanuary 12, 2018perfect spot for any kind of going out. Moderately cheap. Good fixed price offerings. Fancy art deco interior.
- Paula RebouçasFebruary 8, 2016Beautiful restaurant with great food! I loved The chopped steak with fries!
- Arif AnsariFebruary 4, 2016Amazing place! Like stepping back into the 1920s. Great food and service. Recommend the Tarte au Chocolat.
- Justine RApril 6, 2017Great for groups! Cocktails are expensive, rest is reasonably priced. The steak tartare is delicious!
- Kate EvansDecember 7, 2015Great for couples, families and large groups - v busy on wknds but worth it!
- Anna WallaceNovember 20, 2014Head downstairs to Bar Americaine and step back to the 1920s. Beautiful decor and lovely cocktails
