- The Corcoran GroupDecember 2, 2013Be sure to sign up for a brewery tour as soon as you arrive, as they fill up pretty quickly during the weekends. With beer tokens costing $20 for 5, it's a great way to sample a wide variety of beers.
- Erik CintronMay 31, 2015Awesome brewery U pay with tokens up front and then go get all the beers u want. Has the big tables. Brewery tours from 10$ to free. No food but you can order from local places. Cool little gift shop
- Mariama RentoyAugust 17, 2014The beers that we tried weren't that great but it's a nice experience to go inside and see the crowd. Buy the 5 for $20 beer tokens and you're set. Find the german bar on 3rd street afterwards!
- A great spot to sample the local microbrewery's selection! You can bring your own food and play Jenga or cards at a table. We've always enjoyed the tour, its more of the history than a walking tour.
- BourbonautJune 17, 2018The brewery that put Brooklyn Craft Beer on the map. Do a tour, and stick around after to drink a few of their offerings. Personal fave is Black Chocolate Stout.
- It's impossible to go wrong with a trip here. Enjoy a tour or grab a brew or two with your friends inside at the beer garden. A lively spot on the weekends.
- Yuri TeixeiraOctober 13, 20175 tokens for 20 dollars in the weekends is just great! Try the sour beers! And the 4 tokens worth Belgian triple is totally worth it, specially because they give you the glass!
- Paige CDecember 19, 2023Lots of rules and strict time constraints here, but once you get passed that, it’s a pretty good time. The Blue Ribbon fried chicken was among the best I’ve ever had!
- Leticia FrancaSeptember 18, 2016Great place to drink a beer and get to know more about the history of Brooklyn Brewery! The tour is free and each beer is about 5 dollars. Our guide, Mike, was great! Hilarious stories and lots of fun
- Patrick ScobleJune 17, 2020Fun place to come with friends. Lively atmosphere with games and lots of beer. Take the free tour and enjoy tasting as many beers as possible.
- Valerie SJuly 17, 2016Get here EARLY on weekends! Once the line forms outside, you can't enter until people leave. Great for groups (once you can snag a table). Lively and fun atmosphere.
- Stina P.September 3, 2016great tasting room stop if in wburg. they offer free tours and it's always cool to hear the 80s story of the wburg location's expansion into a national brand.
- Io As SoonApril 4, 2019Awesome atmosphere, very tasty beer, great staff, you can plan a visit, assist to a live music show and buy both beers and gifts from the shop
- Rob WawrzynczakAugust 26, 2017Fantastic small batch tour, was really focused on the history and beer tasting more than the actual brewing process. Sampled some fantastic beers
- Simon CheadleMarch 10, 2019Great beers and an interesting (but short) tour. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Williamsburg
- Men's Health MagOctober 2, 2014After the brewery tour, trade in tokens for brews like the ’55 Pennant Ale, congregate with your beer-loving brethren in a packed cafeteria, and play a few hands of poker while you enjoy the buzz. Read more
- Rebecca BrownDecember 21, 2014Free tour of the Brewery! Why wouldn't you!?! Be sure to take a beer with you; don't worry, it's encouraged. If you're lucky to get Ian as a tour guide, you're winning at life.
- Vedrana PlesticOctober 8, 2019You can’t go to Brooklyn without visiting the brewery. These boys would agree! Although in terms of beer selection I prefer some of the other places nearby like Tørst!
- Emiliano ViscarraDecember 28, 2015Excellent place to get to taste a lot of varieties of Brooklyn Beer and get to know the factory on a mini free tour.
- Mariana Stuginski BarbosaSeptember 5, 2015Buy the tokens before ordering your beer! You can buy food from food truck outside! I love their beer, so of course this was perfect for me.
- Brooks DoyneAugust 18, 2013The deal is great:$20 for 5 brews. The brews are great and they offer a lot of beers that are only available at the brewery. The line is entirely too long. Need to find a way to serve more people
- Fodor's TravelAugust 21, 2015If you want a behind-the-scenes look at one of the city’s famous breweries, now is the time. The Brooklyn Brewery, located in Williamsburg, hosts a wide range of free tours on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Come for the cornholing competition on the last Tuesday of the month, an experience not to be missed. Watch out for the neighbors with the shared backyard - boy can they throw!
- egleMay 22, 2016This is a very similar experience to many other brewery rooms in the country, so nothing unique. However, the beer is excellent and the value is great for New York ($20 for 5 beers).
- IvBeenThere.comMarch 31, 2015One of my favorite things to do in a new city is to explore the microbrewery scene and try as many different brews as possible. Read more
- Francisco Gutiérrez JeriaSeptember 21, 2018Beautiful place in Williamsburg, great beers and nice people. Get there early because it can get very crowded.
- It's a bit of a misnomer. The brewery in Brooklyn only brews the local "big bottles" and nothing else. The tour is quick. You buy wooden beer tokens. They used to be cheap.
- Justin BartonMarch 2, 2016I've been here several times, but this past weekend the brewery was like a combination of a dog park and a nursery. Let's keep our children and pets at home please!
- Fodor's TravelSeptember 9, 2015The Brooklyn Brewery stepped onto the scene in 1988, first bringing beer to Brooklyn from a brewery in upstate New York and then, in 1996, from this former matzoh factory in Williamsburg. Read more
- Josh CollinsApril 14, 2014Great spot. The tour was worth going on. The line to get beer was unpredictable on a Sunday. Sometimes short, sometimes crazy long. Mad dog the line until it's short or get 2 beers while you're there
- Kaitlyn EMay 21, 2012Great for happy hour on Fridays. If you come on a weekend get there early to snag a table, then get a pizza delivered and relax and enjoy all the greatness the brewery has to offer!
- Greg TaggartAugust 6, 2014Can't go wrong with any beer here. Plus, the tour is amazing. Make sure you snag a beer for the tour though!!
- Daniel PorterOctober 6, 2014Really busy on the weekends but the atmosphere is worth it. Long beer lines so considering ordering multiple beers at once.
- Nicole RovigFebruary 25, 2019Free tour. Good street parking. Warm staff! Dress young. Bring own food. Go for the Brooklyn Defender.
- Amanda RellaJuly 17, 2017Cool spot to hang out and go for a free tour. Line can be long to get in but moves fairly quickly. The tour guides are really funny.
- Brew YorkAugust 3, 2011The brewery is currently in the midst of a multi-million dollar expansion that will boost its capacity in the borough. Right now, much of their beer is brewed at F.X. Matt Brewing in Utica, NY.
- Samantha JoFebruary 24, 2015Arrive early if you want to get a spot/picnic table. Ask the "bartenders" for a sample if you're not sure what beer you want. And forgo the tour - it's not that great.
- Bring a pizza (or order one) and bring a nice game like Cards Against Humanity. Meet up with some friends or meet some new ones! Drink some great beer and have a really good time!
- Lina BodestadJuly 21, 2013The first-come, first-served guided tour on Saturday was excellent, witty and very inspiring. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood.
- VegNews MagazineAugust 29, 2012Almost all of the beers are vegan! But watch out for the brewery’s Brooklyn Local 2 and Brooklyn BAMboozle beers, along with several past Brewmaster’s Reserve drinks, which may contain honey.
- Tony XerriApril 15, 2019Its beer. Good beer. Beer you should drink. Immediately. Maybe a flight? Get a flight. Both of them. Simultaneously. Drink it.
- Love this place. Its a Williamsburg institution. Visit before they move their location after 20 years! $20 for 5 tokens gets you 5 beers!

- Laura BonelliSeptember 13, 2015Favorite evening spot in Williamsburg. So chilled. Beers are fantastic and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Loved it.
- Mallory NapolitanoSeptember 19, 2016Good fun, plenty of beers on tap, bit too 'college crowds' getting drunk at times, but worth a visit
- Lauren ElizabethJanuary 28, 2016$20 for 5 amazing beers. Perfect weekend afternoon spot and less crowded in winter.
