- Varun ShettyDecember 3, 2012If you're here for a show and you're short (like me), hang back by the bar. It's still crowded but you'll be able to see the stage. And you'll be close to beer! Win-win-win.
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍March 2, 2019Brooklyn Bowl is absolutely fantastic. It's a solid music venue and a bowling alley that serves you good food and drinks. If you wanna go on a fun and unusual date, this may be a good place
- Concert Ticket AgencySeptember 19, 201216-lane bowling alley, 600-capacity performance venue with live music 7 nights a week. The food is by Blue Ribbon and the fried chicken is NOT to be missed! Home of Lebowski fest! The Dude Abides.
- Kimmie OhhDecember 11, 2019Great place to have fun bowling. They have excellent fried chicken! Try their roasted adobo corn, essentially elotes. Try their Rock. And Roll. Fries, these have chicken gravy, Cajun spice & cheese.
- My favorite place on earth. Combines everything that makes for a good time: fun, bowling, great food (from Blue Ribbon), great beer (BK Brewery), and they score some of the best live acts around.
- Alexzandria LangheierJuly 9, 2015So cool!!! I was here for a show and they have an awesome large venue and restaurant inside the place which has delicious Mac and cheese and Pizza shockingly! Ok service not super helpful
- Chris RaghoobarDecember 23, 2015A concert venue and a bowling alley in one?! This place is fantastic, great for concerts (and bowling!), all around a fun time. Questlove hosts his Bowl Train every Thursday night!
- Conrad Greiner-BechertApril 18, 2018I saw Xavier Rudd perform live here and I must say I was super impressed with the acoustics and mood at this place, considering it doubles as a bar and bowling venue.
- New York PostFebruary 26, 2013Questlove’s Thursday night’s DJ set is a solid bet. Order the fried chicken. It’s a bit pricey, at $22 but it's a vast portion and a miracle combination of perfect crispness and no grease.
- Don't leave without trying something off their delicious southern cuisine menu. The Catfish sandwich, the fried chicken, the pizzas, the milkshakes...all quality Blue Ribbon food.
- Jennie D.December 21, 2014If you get there & coat check is full, throw your coat on one of the ledges by the exits near the stage. One of the security staff will take it away to the lost and found & you can pick it up after ;)
- Get here early to put your name down for bowling & blue ribbon restaurant. Enjoy a beer before dining and shortly after your meal, the bowling lane should be ready. Pre-planning adds to a great night
- Everyone knows that the Blue Ribbon fried chicken is sex in public on a dinner plate. But the foreplay? Rock & roll fries: gravy, cajun spice, provolone & cheddar. Wipe the dumb grin off your face.
- Jenny SorensenApril 8, 2015Go here for a show, bowl at the same time, get wild and dance the night away down your bowling alley while munching on famous Blue Ribbon fried chicken and drinking from a Margarita pitcher. Read more
- i've actually never bowled here. i have though, seen some great live music (worth it if there's a cover!), eaten some delicious food (please order fried chicken) and had thirst quenching libations.

- If you're lucky you'll meet and be liked by Dana, their amazing event planner. If not, then console yourself with blue ribbon's deviled eggs the friend chicken
- Kira RochaAugust 17, 2016Always great to bowl and food amazing. But so expansive, $200 in 1.5 hr to play 1 set of bowl and having snacks and beer
- Meredith GrahamFebruary 17, 2014The hype is legit -- the fried chicken is amazing! The french bread pizzas also looked great, but were too much food for a small party. Great spot for groups!
- exfmFebruary 14, 2012Amazing live music that you can watch while getting drunk and bowling. Does it get any better than that? Keep an eye out for the weekly Cantora Live Presents shows. Those never disappoint!

- By far my favorite music venue in nyc. And the food is amazing - anything on the menu is a guaranteed win but def make sure to try the fried chicken, rock & roll fries, and hear the specials!
- Quick walk from Smorgasburg. If you're a music nerd, get there around ~5 and catch the soundcheck for the evening performer. Come back Thursday pm for Soul Train w/ Questlove. AWESOME venue for shows
- Hal MackinsFebruary 12, 2017Fantastic place to see a show or bowl a frame, or both. The food is also very solid, particularly the fried chicken meal.

- Marq and Chriselle's Super Awesome WeddingNovember 15, 2011Our favorite spot for concerts, DJ's and hanging with the hipsters. We've spent countless nights dancing the night away with each other, sharing a plate of fried chicken and a glass of Brooklyn Blast.

- 2Plus2NYCReviewMay 1, 2011They found a way to make bowling fun and even better then it already is. And even if you don't get to bowl you still have a great time here. Check out the rest of our night out. Read more
- Tickets are typically priced well, but bowling, food, drinks will run your bill up quickly. Bowling area has great view of the stage + good service. Chicken & shakes are great. A must go.
- Never fails to be the most fun night with great music and people. And there is chicken waiting for you when you get hungry drunk!
- CMJAugust 29, 2012High stages are great for short people--clearly something Brooklyn Bowl's owners considered when opening this venue. The lanes are right in the venue, so expect to hear the odd "clack!" or two.
- emily chenJanuary 17, 2015whatever you do, don't bowl and eat. bowl and then eat as much blue ribbon fried chicken as possible. rock and roll fries too.

- Kodi McKinneyMarch 21, 2011Take anyone visiting Brooklyn for the first time here, even for a few minutes. Overstimulating in the best ways, with next-level shows and (unusual for W-Burg) killer fried chicken.
- Patrick BaskinOctober 3, 2014Great, intimate place for a concert. Acoustics are decent, but could be improved, cheap shows are definitely worth going here for
