Maybe the best date spot in BK. Saddle up to the bar and eat your meal there. Constantly revolving menu, but I've never had a bad meal here. If the polenta with duck meatballs is on the menu, get it.

Smoked Blue fish with green goddess was off the hook, kabocha squash with feta and pesto was nutty and tender. Big portions. Amazing, friendly, warm, intuitive service and great drinks. Con: Loud!

I can't stress this enough but if they are offering the seafood stew for 2 you must get it. It's one of those special dishes that you will remember a place for. 2 thumbs and all that.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Carroll Gardens. The menu is seasonal and changes regularly. Start with a few of the smaller plates to share.

One of the best meals I've ever experienced. Fresh, creative, perfectly seasoned and generous portions. With a menu that changes daily, well worth returning often!

We always start with the same three dishes - Kale, Corn, & Cucumber Pancake! Then we split the Bucatini & Chicken with a side of Falafel, of course!

Try - Tagliatelle with perfectly crispy Brussels sprouts and housemade creamy burrata. After dinner, don't leave without trying a piece of ricotta cheesecake with apricot marmalade, if it's available. Read more

Italian schoolhouse decor and mouthwatering pasta give plenty reason to stay, but those in-the-know call ahead for take-home meatballs and jarred sauces and sides from the mini market up front.

Excellent Italian with thoughtful surprises, like roast Brussels sprouts served on a bed of whipped chickpeas with bacon and sorrel.

best meal I've had in 2014 and we ate the same night the health inspector came and interrupted their service. it sounds trite but literally everything we ate was incredible.

Extraordinary french toast. Don't let the completely lackadaisical service deter you - the food is punching above its weight class, and worth digging down for some tolerance.

A cozy brunch spot in Cobble Hill that isn't as crowded as you'd expect. The pork belly egg sandwich is amazing.

Best place I've ever had dinner in NY. Good food and the staff even asked who I wanted as an waiter, never happened before. Try the Coolhaus sandwiches for dessert!

Get the Panelle sandwich. It's a chickpea patty light and fried with pickled peppers, ricotta cheese and honey drizzled on it. Delish. A little messy but good! Just wish the place served coffee!!!

Panelle sandwich is one of the most delicious I've ever had. The honey drizzle really compliments the crispy chick pea fillet and creamy ricotta. This picky vegetarian will definitely be back.

The food was great. Rabbit meatballs, octopus, lasagna, rice balls, all that. But the prices we're obnoxiously high for the portion size. It's a shame too because I'd like to go back...

The homemade chicken sausage that appears in a few dishes is excellent, as are the sauces. For dessert get one of the Phinzy and Phoebe ice creams - my roommates swear by the Ginger Cookie flavor

I'm surprised the spaghetti & meatballs are getting such raves; I found the meatballs to be overly full of filler and the sauce uninteresting. The Caesar salad & caponata were good, tjough. Off night?
