Like stepping back in time; Order a real kaffé creme, crêpes with apricot jam, lox on brown bread, and the spaetzle. You'll never know the great disservice you've done yourself if you skip dessert.

For dessert the chilled coffee mit ice cream and whipped cream, and the shredded crepes soufflé with fruit compote were both excellent. The classic Viennese chocolate cake and the latte were ok.

One of my best discoveries in NYC!- YES: trout crepes, bratwurst sausage Mit cheddar cheese (I don't even like sausage), pretzel. DESSERT: shredded soufflé with fruit compote, eiskaffee. NO: sandwiches; tried 2 so far and they were meh.
- Excellent. Definitely get: smoked bratwurst mit cheddar cheese, smoked trout crepe. Meh: spread liverwurst sandwich. Coming soon: dessert.
