Caroline Deng: This place is right next to Osaka's Spa World! It has a lot of great small restaurants and arcades. The nighttime views of this place are gorgeous!
Caroline Deng: Once you go past the main garden and temple, you will arrive at the Bamboo Grove. It gets very crowded, but once you get past the main route the crowd lessens.
Caroline Deng: Can't go to Tokyo without coming here. The trek up to the gates takes ~2 hours. You should make a detour to the fox shrine near the entrance.
Caroline Deng: You can take really cool time lapses going up and down the elevators/escalators. It has a great 360 view of Osaka, and is located in a great central location if you want to do exploring afterwards.

Caroline Deng: This ferry is a lot of fun and is beautiful around sunset. The terminals have public restrooms if you arrive early. Buy a round trip pass to avoid the hassle of buying another ticket on the way back.

Caroline Deng: This is a MUST-SEE if you visit Seattle! The glass sculptures are incredible and the garden is beautiful at night. Make sure to buy your ticket 1 hour before closing time. Also, Space Needle is nearby
Caroline Deng: Check out the Cape Flattery Trail by getting a permit at the Washburn's General Store. Go to the Diah Veterans Park for a beautiful sunset. There are ~2500 Makah people living on the reservation.
Caroline Deng: This trail is very well-kept. Get the permit to go to the trail at Washburn's General Store. You can see sea otters on the rocks and banana slugs on the trails if you look carefully enough!
Caroline Deng: A Makah Native American reservation. Go to Washburn's General Store to pick up a permit to go to the Cape Flattery trail. It's very peaceful and small, with a population of ~2500 people.
Caroline Deng: This town was where some of the movie series Twilight was filmed. Check out Jacob Black's house, Bella Swan's house, and the Treaty Line!
Caroline Deng: The staff is very friendly and the lodging is very very comfortable. Your kids will love the swing next to the public bathroom/shower facility.

Caroline Deng: Wow--come during sunset because the colors are so vivid year-round. The train comes very nearby and looks like the train from Spirited Away!
Caroline Deng: Wow. It's stunning on a foggy day. If you take the first right on the trail, you will go to a place with a lot of logs to climb over which is fun for kids. If not, take the second right on the trail.

Caroline Deng: This place is so great for families. We stayed in a five bedroom cabin for only $600 per night. There is no signal but there is wifi here! Also, avoid overusing water. You will be charged.
Caroline Deng: Love how cool this ferry is! There's two observation decks: one on the second floor and one at the very top. The second floor is a passenger deck with windows if you don't want to deal with the wind.
Caroline Deng: The trail is very easy to walk and is great for groups and families. Once you reach the waterfall, walk to the right and you will find a place where you can go down to the waterfall.
