From the folks who brough us Alta, Cata's standouts include chickpea fritters, deviled eggs, mushrooms a la plancha and an extensive G&T list. Great for groups!

One of my fave tapas places right now. Gorgeous space, great G&Ts, lots of yum. Chickpea fritters, winter salad, bikini sandos, lamb, skirt steak, halloumi, deviled eggs - & this torrija for dessert!

I'm not sure why this place isn't always full; it's great! For a nice date night, get a couple small dishes (maybe oysters and duck pastrami), a main (duck paella is delicious), and a bottle of wine.

Not super impressed by the entrees, but love the vibe and service of the place. The drinks are great, especially the Gin&Tonic selection and The Peacemaker. The fried goat cheese is to die for.

Absolutely love this place. Great food and ambiance. This time the standouts we had were the merguez and the chicken croquettes. The Bombas needed more jamon but still love love love.

best Gin & Tonic cocktail menu in NYC - try the Cucumber/Rose, super refreshing. Deviled eggs, Merluzza tempura, & skirtsteak were the standouts. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check.

Great Spasnish/American tapas bar. A great option for a busy weeknight - almost always a space. 20 different kinds of gin and tonics- try smoked coconut, amazing! Fun, delicious food.

Fantastic tapas and great space. Also tons of types of gin & tonics. Tapas: recommend chanquetes (fish) and gambas (shrimp) al ajillo, montaditos escalivada/cabra, pimientos de padrón and bravas

I have not had a bad dish here. I esp love the razor clams - totally delicious. And I love the fact that they now have a larger cocktail menu. The old fashioned I had tonite was great!

Goddamn this place is good. So many great G&T's. And the snacks! Can't go wrong with chickpea fritters, eggplant labne, merguez sausage, bikinis or the quail egg benedict. Must come back for more!

Delicious Madrid style tapas. They even have migas! I suggest the deviled eggs, quail eggs benedict and sepia (Cuttlefish)- all delicious when washed down with some vermouth!

Much like their sister restaurant Alta in the West Village, great selection of tapas and wines. Make sure you try the goat cheese balls with mars alone and honey.

Outstanding tapas place that is a sister restaurant to Alta. Makes you feel like you're back in Spain. Gin is the drink of choice with a variety of tonic water/garnish combos.

Go w/ a group and get glutinous. Wonderful staff, fine interior and sharable plates like the paella, meatballs, quail Benedict, deviled eggs, strip steak with blue cheese and ham grilled cheese are A+

We loved every tapa we ordered. Bone marrow crusted oysters were the stand out for me. Cucumber and rose gin & tonic is different but not crazy, the way it should be

Everyone loves the non-committal concept of tapas restaurants - and they make a lot of sense for birthday gatherings where people don’t want to order a whole roast chicken.

Not very authentic but great food. Almost always possible to get in a weeknight. Shrimp with garlic is a must. Gin and Tonic drinks are great. Would skip expensive paellas and get more tapas instead.

Deviled eggs, amazing. Chickpea fritters melt in your mouth. Leeks, perfectly grilled on toasted baguette. Amazing G&Ts-- especially grapefruit, cinnamon, Thai basil, kaffir lime.

Dinner for two w/o fish? App: Cana de cabo cheese. Entree: Skirt steak w/ egg (recommend 1 each person). Chickpea fritters & artichokes on the side. Dessert: Caramel sundae to share. FTW!

Small portion tapas but super tasty and flavourful. I would go with the lamb ribs and prawns. Fried goat cheese is a must! Cocktails are unfortunately over priced for what they are.
