- Alyssa KAugust 26, 2014Chambar is now open for brunch with ~300 seats. The menu is essentially the same as the Cafe Medina menu of old (including waffles). So if you're looking to skip Medina's crazy lines...
- Eloise EatonJuly 30, 2017Great patio. Probably the best mussels in Vancouver. Never had a bad meal here. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Menu changes seasonally so never becomes boring. Portions are a decent size.
- Gaston Motola AcunaSeptember 26, 2017One of the best breakfasts I had in a while. It is crowded, be ready to wait in line and to pay top dollar, place is it cheap. But it is worth it.
- Gaston Motola AcunaSeptember 26, 2017Great place, one of the best brunches I've ever had. Place is crowded so be prepared to wait in line, it is not cheap but is well worth it.
- Tom CoatesAugust 11, 2018The salmon waffle was really nice. My brother had the steak and eggs and I was super jealous. I thought it would be huge but actually it’s a nice brunch portion. Strong recommend.
- Mark ChambersJuly 7, 2018We just dropped in for coffee and waffles this trip. On a previous visit we had a great meal in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere.
- JessicaMarch 10, 2017Great place for brunch or for any meal. Healthy and delicious. Casual yet sort of upscale, but more casual.
- Pete HarmerAugust 11, 2018Steak and eggs were very good! Maybe make a reservation if you want a table for brunch at the weekend
- EaterOctober 7, 2013The menu effortlessly hops from BC-flavoured French classics to Belgian moules-frites. Also known for serving the city's best tajine. [Eater 38 Member]
- Sarp ErkayaMay 7, 2015Very fresh and delicious dishes prepared with organic ingredient tasting so fresh you would want seconds! Try the miso glazed tuna for lunch 👌🏼
- GourmetLiveAugust 15, 2011Chef Nico Schuermans’ Mediterranean-inspired dishes highlight the best local ingredients (sustainable seafood & farm–fresh produce like spot prawns & morel mushrooms) w/ Belgian beers & boutique wines
- The Network HubSeptember 25, 2011Congolaise or mussels in coconut cream, smoked chili & lime is what I normally get with one of their wide selection of Belgian beer. Their dessert by far is the highlight - amazing dessert chef!
- William JohnsonAugust 9, 2015A vibe most representative of the city: highly sophisticated, yet laid back. A bit pricey, but the premium is worth it.
- ManilJanuary 28, 2015Breakfast was excellent. Got a booth and was able to converse with old friends without being inundated with morning chatter. Tea was good.
- The Blue Fig. Oven roasted figs steeped in gin. Freeze &serve with a side of Danish blue...don't put this in your drink, nibble &sip. The sharpness of the cheese mellows out the figgy gin. Read more
- Great option for some great take out food during the COVID19 lockdown. Those are some spicy meatballs!
- Ahmad SamadiDecember 31, 2019The waffles are an obvious - the raspberry caramel and also the pistachio sauces are divine.
- Deanna MatthewsJuly 19, 2016The lamb shank was incredible ! Calamari stuff with veal was unreal and the chocolate mouse ... Yummy
- Ada JuristovskiAugust 24, 2015Same brunch menu as Medina's, and they take resos! Brunch starts at 8 am for those early birds - avoid the rush!
- Jason BradshawOctober 5, 2017Simply, the best service in Vancouver. Great beer selection and excellent food.
- Jason BradshawOctober 5, 2017Obviously, the beer selection is Divine. But the Lamb Shank is excellent as well.

- Nicole SorochanJune 12, 2010Stop in for the most amazing Mussels and pair with a great Belgian Beer. A vancouver must! Don't be surprised if you are seated near a celebrity.
- Kumiko ISeptember 9, 2009The lounge is perfect for cocktails, mingling and cozy chatter -- but I prefer dining in the back (with the exposed brick and beautiful high ceilings). The mussels are a must.
- You must try the "Le Café Belge". We can't even find one that good in Belgium. Tweet me when you try it at @alextoul!
- If you can find a way to do the tasting menu, you will not be disappointed. I have had it twice and have been wowed both times.
- Tiffany CheungJuly 20, 2013I got the mussels for dine out and they werent as good as everyone said it was:( ive had mussels in belgium before and they werent even comparable!! Maybe it was just that day?
- Roberto Bruder AguiarOctober 12, 2017Very pricy for what they offer. Besides, I asked for a Paella and they brought me a Tagine. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as good as Jam Cafe. Go to the next door and you’ll love it.
- The bread of the day is always delicious. Jenny never fails to deliver.
- Great place to get Medina waffles without the Medina line.
