Since I've left Cali, this has been my go to spot for on point mexican food! Tacos are hella good!
Best. Food. Ever. And the drinks are great too! It's almost always packed so make sure you aren't starving when you get there.

The black bean soup is amazingly good. Quesadillas come with a yummy smoky sauce. And the Isla Bonita is a great cocktail.

NicoleJuly 25, 2015Maybe I went on an off night? Crowded/close tables, friendly staff, short wait. Margarita clásica tasted watered down. Appetizer & entree were drowned in oil/sauce. Sides & dessert were good, though.
Chips are large and circular. Put them on your plate and poke em apart with your finger

Even better than the old location! Guac, Mexican corn on the cob, and chorizo-potato tacos are all AMAZING.

Lunch specials before 4pm. Cheap and delicious. Sangria's are frickin amazin'. Try the red.
- Never ever ever come here on a Saturday night unless you want to wait 1.5 hours. Stick to weeknights & brunch or just order delivery. Fortunately the food and cocktails are well worth a long wait.
A neighborhood staple. Whenever unsure of what to have for dinner think Chavela's!
