- Natalie PrattSeptember 9, 2018I sat at the bar and tried the pumpkin, cinnamon beer. Was asked how I liked it and said it was a little sweet for my liking. The bar lady switched it out for an IPA. Such attentive service!
- Otel.comSeptember 13, 2011The inspiration for the TV show “Cheers” at Beacon Hill. Not everyone will immediately know your name, but you’ll surely meet lots of people here who’ll be glad you came! Kids allowed up to 10 pm.
- KristinJuly 4, 2015Upstairs bar is the set bar. We we're here on a crowded hi day weekend and we're still able to find a spot to sit after waiting just a few mins. Had a beer and bowl of clam chowder.Upvoted Oct 7
- Yohan PonchaJune 8, 2019The Giant Norm Burger is a delight. Calling it a whopper on steroids is apt. We also had the starter platter which had the best of everything. The drinks were refreshing, just with too much ice.
- Heather Noonan-HargrovesOctober 24, 2014Cheers! Not everyone knows your name but it's worth a gander just for the nostalgia. Simple bar food that fills you up, great beer selection.
- MattJune 17, 2023Of all the touristy stuff we did this was probably the most touristy. Like everything else in Boston it wasn't cheap. I did like the chili and it was a good amount. It has 2 gift shops.
- Jeremy S.August 7, 2014The inspiration for the show is downstairs. Go upstairs for a replica of the set from the show. Enjoy a beer in Norms spot!
- IWalked Audio ToursSeptember 20, 2011Originally known as Bull & Finch Pub in honor of Boston architect Charles Bulfinch. TV show almost based in Kansas City or Barstow, CA. Cliff actually auditioned to play Norm! More info in blog.<LINK> Read more
- Gary NoeFebruary 19, 2017This is a great place to visit. Good beers, food and the locals are very friendly. The bartender upstairs was extremely friendly and on her game for customer service.

- Adam CandeloreApril 16, 2010I'm a server here, and I highly recommend our Bacon Blue Burger. Make sure to ask your server about the beers of the month, we're all pretty knowledgeable about the booze!
- Erik CintronNovember 15, 2015It's pure nostalgia nothing else. Over priced everything and considering the show ended 20 years ago, It should be more humble. The memorabilia is expensive just like the drinks. Go just cuz.
- Ryan StinerSeptember 2, 2016Cold beer and a juicy burger. Try the bacon and blu burger and a local brew. Cheers!
- Robert SeeryNovember 17, 2013The "set bar" is vibrant and fun. Meet some locals and pretty soon "everybody knows you name"!
- Alf 86March 11, 2017The main set is up stairs and the bar is down stairs.the bar isn't the actual cheers bar that is upstairs but is only a set.
- ArtJonakMarch 27, 2012Since I don't drink, I ordered a water. Apparently not a lot of people do that at Cheers! LOL. Super fun place... great to see NORM and FRAZIER name plates, etc.
- Luis FSAugust 9, 2014Couldn't find Norm seating at the bar, but besides that, like being in the tv show. Gift shop is inside and has Norm nuts :-))
- Nancy HinesOctober 14, 2015If you go and want a seat, always tell the hostess staff that you are eating. Otherwise they won't seat you. You have to just stand and hope to be seen over the crowd at the bars.
- A SOctober 22, 2016Can get very crowded, and they don't take reservations. Definitely visit if you enjoyed the show!
- Denise D.September 2, 2019Didn’t get to eat here but I enjoyed touring the set of the bar from the show and the gift shop.

- Morgan LintonDecember 3, 2012Sit in Norm's seat and live the dream. Just remind people to yell "Norm!" when you walk in to get the full effect.
- The Liberty HotelJanuary 30, 2012Where everybody knows your name – located right down the street from the Liberty. We recommend trying one of the eNormous burgers.
- Sara FarrellMarch 28, 2010The salmon was amazing. Blue cheese burger was great too. Ask to go upstairs to "the set". Very very cool. Must check it out!

- David ChadOctober 19, 2012Go in, buy a beer and have some bar snacks. Oh yeah, don't expect it to look like the bar on TV!
