Go downstairs (near restrooms) go to the mini market and pick up a can of local beer (starting at 2.50) drink anywhere in the Market while you try all the different foods..you’re welcome. Mizon
Great place with a lot of things to do. Shopping, eating, and walking around. A lot of food options around. Heading to high line is a good idea after Chelsea Market.
Inside the the old National Biscuit Building that use to bake Oreos and animal crackers in the 1890s this building is a beauty! Great food stores & eateries inside! Check out the high line!!
Great if you haven't decided what you fancy for a spot of lunch: delis, doughnuts, lobsters, coffees... Do a lap first though, in case you see something later you wish you still had room to eat!
1, Dock your bike at W 16 St & The High Line. 2. Get provisions for an impromptu picnic within Chelsea Market. 3. Walk up to The High Line and revel in the sunshine. 4. Do it again next weekend.
Bustling indoor market within a historical building. Recommend the Creperie and Doughnuttery plus cool shops. Drop in while you're in Meatpacking or after walking the High Line.
Everything was delightful I had lunch there and after that I took a walk around the craft stores you can stay there for hours if you want handmade things and good food
Find the beer stand and get a beer in a jar first. Then you can explore while drinking! Lots of cool independent designers on show. Always busy so get those elbows out!
Hit the bazaar-style 9th Avenue market for dozens of gourmet takeaway vendors -- from custom-filled cupcakes and custom-frosted cookies to gift-worthy DIY baskets -- under one roof.
Overwhelming! It can be so crowded at times, that it’s worse than the subway during rush hour. If you’re not from NYC, you really oughtta visit, but if you don’t like choking crowds, don’t come!
Lots of yummy eats...perfect spot to go to when you have to wait for your laptop to be fixed at Apple :-) Then go to The Highline and take a long walk..or sit and enjoy the views.
Stop into this massive sprawl of food stands and retail stores to nibble on sweets from Fat WitchBakery, pick up fresh lobsters from the Lobster Place, and spend time taking in the scene
The lobster place is an incredible experience. The Filling Station and its craft beer is a party saver, and the L'arte del gelato has the best gelato in town.
[Shopping] Indoor food concourse with heaps of good restaurants, bakeries, food stores and spaces for sample sales. Check out Friedmans, Green Table, Lobster Place and Eleni's.
A little touristy but for a good reason, its beautiful and fun. Plenty of free samples & the filling station<3 this + high line = great day for your out-of-towners.
If you know where you're going and just want to get in and out, you can bypass a lot of the slow-moving tourist traffic by going in the side door on 15th St. instead of the main doors.
A variety of yummy food offerings and just fun place to walk through. Often there are samples sales, craft booths, or other pop-ups stores to check out too.
Wander around on a rainy day or winter weekend. If it's nice, hit the High Line too. Perfect stop when company's in town. Bring your appetite! http://bit.ly/1f7mPK0
If you're visiting Chelsea Market & like seafood, you HAVE to stop at Lobster Place and grab a Lobster Roll, Crab Club, fresh madesushi. Better than a lot of seafood restaurants in the city.
Favorite afternoon spot. Share sushi, chowder, pad thai, crepes or smoothies and then walk to the Highline. Perfection everytime. - Jake Manabat, Hunting Season
