There's a lot of great food but they don't have a lot of seating. If the weather is good, try getting take out and eating outside!

Get lost in the souk-like atmosphere. A gazillion interesting shops. The spice shop, bookstore and artisinal flea at the end are the best.

Amy's Whole Wheat baguette is great! The lobster at the fish market is payable and delicious! And you have to get the Italian ice cream.

Such a cool place, all kinds of eat shops to satisfy anyone's palette. Can get very crowded though, but worth the time to check everything out

Come here on the weekend to feel like you're cattle being herded. A lot of great food options. Impossible to find a place to sit.

Lobster place is the best fresh fish in lower Manhattan. Cull and Pistol next door have $1 oysters between 4-6 pm.

If you're visiting Chelsea Market & like seafood, you HAVE to stop at Lobster Place and grab a Lobster Roll, Crab Club, fresh made sushi. Better than a lot of seafood restaurants in the city.

Definitely worth a visit if you are into food. Plenty of vegetarian options for take-away to the nearby highline. But skip it on weekends, its too crowded.

Sushi from the lobster place is fresh. Go on weekend to catch artist and fleas or a sample sale. Fatwitch bakery has half off brownies after 5pm.

Yea, I know, it's a cluster#$%@, but there is a produce market (also wholesaler) called Manhattan Fruit, that has a good selection of ingredients used in Mexican cooking.
