One of the best airports ever visited short walks good freq of eateries even though the duty free is small.. look at the ambience with live plants even behind boarding gate no more boring industrial
There are vultures awaiting for passengers transferring from domestic to international airport. These guys try to convince you that they are genuine but don't be fool by them. Always get prepaid taxi!
Beautiful airport. Lots of walking involved, but I think that is the case with most airports. They turn the AC off at night it seems. Trying to be ecofriendly at the expense of passenger comfort.
Trolleys are kept in the far corner of the vast baggage claim area near Belt 3. God forbid your luggage is coming at Belt 13. You'll walk a kilometre to and fro to collect a trolley. Amazing India!
A big ,cleanairport, the only problem is that u just have45 minutes of free wi fi and if u wanna charge it you MUST have credit card not in cash!!!! Lovely part of that is dogs in air port
Very clean and well appointed airport. Expect long walks to the arrival hall and lots a traffic around the airport when getting out. Theobroma being in the airport is 😀
An airport matching international standards. Very big & good. But as it is an Indian airport, the authoroties are also having typical India orthodox mentality.
Very nice, clean and uncluttered airport which was easy to navigate. Spent rather long in the e-visa line, but apart from that the experience was very good.
Terminal 1 at Santacruz for domestic flights and Terminal 2 at Sahar for int'l flights. Use the same airside facilities but are physically separated on the cityside, requiring a 15–20-min (airside).
The international airport is huge but lots of security checks from the entrance to the check-in counter, customs, immigrations, etc will probably take almost / hours of your time. It is so annoying!
It is very big but nice design airport. The international terminal is 2, ANA taxi drop gate is 5. There are many night flight to fly back to South east Asia area.
If you get WiFi connected then you are one hell of a dude. Bloody such an amazing airport with no proper WiFi connectivity. Also plz do currency exchange of how much you need. The charges are sky high
Unlike most international airports of class, Mumbai's airport does not believe people need small trolleys while walking the kilometres from the plane and Immigration. Amazing India!
Superb Airport . Beautifully built. Only problem is in arrivals. Lifts don't work properly and you may end up getting stuck sometimes. Lift doesn't go on some floors so causes lots of hassle..
Be 2-3 hours early for international flights. You can get your immigration form at the airline check-in to save time. All hand luggage must be marked with a special memo from your airline.
Have a fresh fruit juice at Shia Sagar, once you are out of the terminal and before you hop into a car/cab. It will energize you after the long and tiring immigration and bag collection experience.
Duty free shopping more attractively priced for Scotch n Malts, as compared to Dubai, Heathrow, JFK, Seattle Tacoma, Gatwick. If ur outta INR just ask customs official to use an ATM just outside.
Maddening crowd when the Middle East flights depart - got caught in the middle of a 'migration fest' today and Learnt it the hard way! Needed 2 hrs to check in and cross immigration! Come prepared!
Free wifi. Register by applying for a mobile phone code, though you have to stay on the login page. So unless you memorise it when it flashes up, you need to start again!
Recommended to buy alcohol frm the destination u come frm its cheaper and variety is larger.if you travel with fmly u can't use one credit card to pay for all.u need to swipe multiple times! Hw lame
If you are dropping someone off in your own vehicle at departure, park your vehicle in the parkingstructure and then move to the gate ten you can take as much time as you want
Smoking at outside of terminal: behind Burger King is recommended. ISA members will immediately recognize once get there. [ International Smokers Association]
Go take a seat near the boarding gate. Boot up ur smartphone or tablet and switch on the wifi. Connect to the airportwifi and download all the crazy things you wanted to.
WoW .. The free Wifi connection that they provide on arrival is just awesome..Coool..Its India's busiest airport in terms of passenger check-ins nd you can see why..Mumbaii
the mac donalda is the best place to lounge if you have a connecting domestic flight afterwhich there is a bus that takes you to the domestic airport for free
Be sure to be early. The immigration queue can easily take you at least 30 min to clear. Nice beautiful new airport but service is like 50 years backward.
Well maintained, good enough!! Only problem is the imbecile who came to put carpeting in the corridors of arrivals, as in Delhi airport...trolleys are not running well!!!
Airport transfer whether its international or domestic is not a hassle here unlike T3 at Delhi. Only sore point is the walkways after de boarding is narrow although there are travelathons.
Never knew they have complimentary service for transfer to international airport. Must take this service to avoid traffic and reach faster. Lovely AC coach and smart staff at your help. 😊
Everything is beautiful and grand at T2 except the mosquitoes...they are big, plenty and everywhere. Do not dare to enter without a mosquito repellent cream.
