    For malaysian, spare 1 day just for this spot n be prepared to walk thousand steps. They have vatican museum n st peter basilica. Inside museum is sistine chapel. Buy ticket from reliable operator

    It's pretty and clean and intresting, but really crowded.too many turists you have to wait in long lines if you're not in a group,but there are some guys called "skip the line" it worth the 4euro

    I recommend visiting at the afternoon for less crowdedness . A tour guide is a must to enjoy tour visit

    Smallest country in the world. Something you can cross off your bucket list ;) make sure you visit the dome in the st pieters church for an epic Vatican skyline view! ( first door on the right)

    It’s the world smallest country. Full of art and faith. Amazing Saint Peter’s basílica & Vatican museums. It’s very recommended to buy online tickets for Vatican museums, the gardens and necropolis.

    Reserve tickets for the Vatican Museums ahead of time and use that to enter the Basilica as well. Easy to spend 4-6 hours here!

    Tips: Choose carefully your ticket and buy it online. Or else you will spend 1 hour minimum queueing outside. Also don't accept "help offers" from people around the city, unless they wear orange vest

    You can watch St peters square & go inside St peters basilica(must watch)for free.You need tickets to go upto dome of St Peters basilica,sistine chapel & vatican museum.Line to get in is approx 1 hr.

    Vatican(Ottaviano station) is connected by metro on A line.The metro station is approx 1 km walk from vatican city. You can change to B line metro at Roma Termini.Colosseum(B)->Termini->Ottaviano(A)

    Beautiful buildings, fountains and sculptures all around. You'll need 5-6 hours to see the best part of it. Better go in the morning or try to book online (if online tickets are available).

    Capital Musem Tours have visit guided by 47€ per person. The visit takes about 2 hours and walk all vantican places.

    Be prepared to spend a lot of time here, maybe several days if you wish to explore the museums. In the summer museums are open until 10PM once a week.

    Don't go to the Vatican in the Monday's morning, it will be crowded. But if you be there around 4pm, it would be almost empty & comfortable to sights seeing.except May of course

    Skip-the-line-tour is a must during summer. It's small but you still need to spend at least half day in Vatican. Worth!

    Be properly dressed. For women, dresses above knee can cause problem getting in.As a work around I have seen girls wrapping scarfs around their waists to make their dresses look longer.

    This is one time when joining a guided group is acceptable. Pick the right guide and the'll get you past the queues and inside in no time, then you can ditch the group and explore at your own pace.

    Home to the Sistine Chapel, Obelisk, Vatican Museum & of course the Pope! If you don't explore it "when in Rome" you'll have missed out big time!

    Visit at night. We were there at 10pm. Plenty of people around taking photos, chilling around the fountain. Great shots, safe place.

    The Pope speeches every Sunday at noon. But he may be late for 15-20 min. Everything around St.Peter's square is closed during his speech till 1 pm on Sunday.

    Buy all the tickets over the net, lines are too much long for waiting. And go on the top of Duomo, the view is spectacular.

    The best time to go is really early in the morning so there are not a lot of people. Its best to go to the museum first and the Basilica after. Museum is free on sundays!

    It takes 20 minutes to get to the Musei Vaticani from the main plaza with the famous basillica and courtyard "Front" of the Vatican...then 5-15 minutes in line @ security scan

    The lines are big and hard to get in in a crowded place. If you are willing to wait for the experience, definitely try it.

    Unlike everybody says, the best time to arrive is at 12ish. The queue is significantly smaller and there are less annoying hawkers on the streets.

    Make sure you are not wearing anything above the knees and to have your shoulders covered - the churches are very strict with this policy.

    If you are afraid of spontaneously combusting upon entering, don't worry! There are big basins of water conveniently by the door!

    Need a couple hours to visit all (which we didn‘t have) but to see the square and the surroundings was OK if you are not that into it :)
