Clifton M: Last time in Vegas did an Internet search for best pizza on the strip. Wolfgang Puck Cucina was closest. Really good pizza & service; excellent wine. Nice atmosphere/view where you can people watch.
Clifton M: Road construction has closed the Shepherd exit. In/out from W. Gray only. Drive thru is gridlocked. Go to the Sbux across the street for the next few weeks.
Clifton M: Same El Tiempo menu. Newest location on Westheimer. Sit upstairs, or go outside during nice weather. Ask to sit at Anna's station if she's working.
Clifton M: Blood drive today; parking is still horrible. While they've added more spaces since I used to go to church here years ago, there is nothing they can do about the bottleneck entrance/exit.
Clifton M: Neighborhood sports bar with good draft & bottled beer selection, 9 TVs, and pleasant wait staff. Order food to eat from pizza, Chinese or sandwich shops next door.

Clifton M: Caprese salad and Salsiccia & Funghi (sausage & mushroom) pizza, made more awesome with a bottle of Alban Reva Syrah. Corkage fee dropped to $3 (was $7 at opening) due to complaints. Very busy place.
Clifton M: Hangover pizza (several different meats, with jalapeños) and a Harp on draft. Great place. Better when construction on Shepherd is finished. Not a lot of parking.
Clifton M: Excellent chop house salad. Sancerre to drink. So excited re: XL Jumbo crab platter I forgot to take a pic. All huge! Dessert was a chocolate sack - new for me. All very expensive. Ask for Nicky!
Clifton M: One of the best steakhouses in town (along with Pappas Bros.) Downtown location is an easy walk to MM Park/Astros games. Expensive but worth it. Good wine list. Try the sautéed mushrooms.
Clifton M: Best liquor store in town, with widest beer, liquor & wine selections. Also has small deli and grocery department. Beware "helpful" wine salespeople on commission; they steer you to high margin items.
Clifton M: The park is still suffering greatly from the prolonged hot summer and drought from a few years ago. Hundreds of trees died, and have yet to be replaced. Cmon COH pick up the pace to replace the trees.
Clifton M: Best grocery store in town, hands down. Finest quality meats, seafood, veggies, prepared foods, etc. Quality ain't cheap, but they have occasional discount specials. Purchase staples elsewhere.
Clifton M: Good burgers for lunch after a bike ride. Good place for women to meet men who play golf. But remember, Memorial is a public course; it's not the ROCC, so gold diggers should go elsewhere.
Clifton M: Children's Festival. Crowded. Rode my bicycle. Expensive $12/adult entry; $10/9 food/bev tickets. Turkey leg = 9 tickets. No beer. Parking $10. Bayou City Arts Festival in Memorial park was better.
Clifton M: Trails are almost finished. I can easily ride my bicycle from home, to memorial park, to downtown, to museum district to the zoo. best thing city of Houston has ever done that's affected me.
Clifton M: Seafood risotto is awesome. This is one of the most romantic restaurants in town - great food, service and atmosphere. Sit at a table in sight of the piano. ❤️
