- SusanJuly 3, 2013I have come here for years and years. It just gets better. I make sure now to stop in every time I am in Saint Louis. They have everything from coffee to ice cream to food. Open 24 hours a day.
- Riverfront TimesAugust 4, 2014The Cartel is open 24/7, and its CWE neighbors take round-the-clock advantage of that, making the place a primo spot for nighttime people-watching. Read more
- ☕️ olearyNovember 28, 2014Not a bad day for Black Friday. The white chocolate caramel latte w/ soy hit the spot on a day where I wore layers. Good atmosphere & a large menu. A lot of options. Get the coffee.
- Riverfront TimesJuly 9, 2013Though known for coffee, you can also buy sandwiches, smoothies, frappes, milkshakes, donuts, gourmet chocolate bars, truffles, bottled juice, ice cream, nachos...lots of stuff.
http://bit.ly/14GdZgz - Newspapers aren't sold here but, if you come in early (before 10am, usually), across the street, Tony's newsstand sells all kinds of newspapers and magazines. He also has dog treats for your pups!
- A great place to come if you get off work at 2 am, like I do. Large variety of House Special lattes, a combo/mixture for every taste. I'm trying them all!
- Em DaggsJune 6, 2015Booze coffee and great food. Actual coffee or espresso drinks kind of suck. Great late night place, since they're open 24/7. Wifi.
- The red pepper hummus, pesto, curry mayo, and chicken salad are all made in house! Also, the pesto is made without pine nuts, if you have an allergy to them. Yay!
- JennyOctober 12, 2014The only place in the hood for late night eats. Food took FOREVER but it was so, so good. Lots of people making out in line too. So there's that.
- Best Coffee in St. Louis. I could go here every single day and never get sick of it. Plus, the people watching is great on Fri/Sat. nights!
- Ashley GreveAugust 12, 2013Leave yourself time to find parking, as it's always packed in CWE weekend nights. CC is open 24 hours, and they sell that St. Louis fav--gooey butter cake :)
- Joseph GoodmanSeptember 25, 2014Best part is that they are open 24 hrs. But expect to wait in line. Reminds me of South Carolina: SLOW! If u want a quick and reliable coffee, go to Starbucks across the st.
- Carl JosephSeptember 21, 2014You must try the gooey butter cake at least once. Try not to get addicted.
- Riverfront TimesJuly 30, 2013Coffee Cartel is happy to spike your coffee to warm you up on a cold night, or to make your afternoon a bit more interesting.
http://bit.ly/18MUjN8 - Everyone who works here is awesome! Be polite and friendly and you'll get the best service you've ever had in a coffee shop/restaurant. True story!
- AJ might be the raspberry truffle (my nickname for her) on staff but the Raspberry Truffle latte on the house special menu is also incredible!
- Matthew HundleyMay 3, 2013Not my favorite place to dine in. But love grabbing a coffee and sitting outside on a cool Spring or Fall evening. It's an institution in these parts.
- Emmy FaksFebruary 8, 2016Very close to my crib, free wifi, da best mocha coffee, fun place to hangout with homies.
- There's a quarter machine in the backroom, next to the restrooms, if you need quarters for the meters. Dennis, the owner, is always one step ahead of your needs.
- Once in a while, you may have a double expresso in a shot glass.
- Matthew MaurerSeptember 12, 2015Well, it's about the only option for sit down coffee after midnight. I've never been impressed with their espresso, and the service is slow. Be prepared to wait, overpay, and not enjoy your coffee.
- Put your cell phones on vibrate so that when you put your earbuds in, your high-pitched text alerts don't irritate the hell out of the staff and fellow customers. Common courtesy!
- Mary Ann StarrSeptember 30, 2015The chicken quesadilla is fire, and the Italian soda is great with peach flavor.
- The Pink Panther: Frappe with half vanilla ice cream and half raspberry sorbet as the base, then add 2 pumps of white chocolate.
- Mark LodesAugust 1, 2011Order a Dirty Fat Cop on the Take & (explain you want an Irish Coffee and a doughnut) and get your Irish Coffee extra stiff for making the barista laught!
- David LandrumNovember 6, 2012Never had a foodgasim until I went here for the first time ever today. Their quesadillas are the greatest ever!
- Angela FickessNovember 11, 2013Super friendly and great place to 'hang out' and watch the world go by.
- This is a great spot to see the CWE walking by. Great coffee, breakfast, and ice cream! Really nice people, too!
- Matthew KochMay 5, 2012Nice staff. Can't judge the coffee very well because I was in the mood for something iced and sweet.
- Leo CamachoApril 28, 2012You can poop AND wash your hands at the exact same time in the bathroom. The ice cream is delicious too.
- Riverfront TimesSeptember 30, 2013Coffee Cartel's pumpkin items are actually available year-round.
http://bit.ly/16D6r2T - Remember that you can't get alcoholic drinks to go so if you want something alcoholic you'll have to sit and enjoy it
- Try a hot chocolate or mocha with the toasted marshmallow syrup. It's freakin' delicious!
- I highly suggest the Hazilla house special latte. It's vanilla and hazelnut together. Perfection.

- Chris V.June 6, 2015Enjoyed the passion Manager, Jason, has for his product, "A St Louis tradition!"
- there is never close parking but this place rocks! try the cajun wrap...amazing
- You don't even compare coffee here with one made across in very big chain.
- Stephen MartinOctober 7, 2010I have gleaned many memories and yummys over the years in this accepting environment.
