    If you are an aspiring actor in NYC, go to Dodge Hall at Columbia. It's the arts building. There are bulletin boards in the stairwells that have casting calls.

    Right before they close they throw out all of the unpurchased diplomas for the day. Grab an employee and you can usually get a bag of unissued diplomas!

    When Allen Ginsberg had his mystic vision in the Columbia Bookstore it was located in the basement of Journalism. It’s since become a Barnes and Noble and moved to the basement of Lerner.
