- Ryan EugeneNovember 12, 2018Best sports bar in New Orleans. If you're not a sports fan but looking to see what Saints fandom looks like, head down the St. Charles Street carline to Cooter Browns. Enough TVs to show every game.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Nicole CheramieNovember 13, 2018There's sports bars and then there's Cooter Browns. With TV's all over you'll find locals here on game days. Raw oysters, burgers and fries, & two bars, come here to unwind after play at Audubon Park.
- Manny FerroOctober 29, 2014Might be my favorite place to watch games. Plenty of tvs including a wall-sized one. Oyster bar and lots of beer variety. For regular bar food I recommend the bayou po-boy
- Tasha BurtonJuly 12, 2014The bartender was sweet as pie! I had the snakebite (cider & lager) and it was delicious. Got a grilled chicken caesar and it was tasty as well. So glad I went with my gut and stopped by!

- NOSMHNovember 5, 2013Order beer at the bar, oysters at the side bar towards the main room, and food just to the right as you walk in the front room. Like 3 different places to order/pay.
- Ruben FloresFebruary 27, 2016The best place to watch the Champions League in town. Also, the food improved a lot with the menu revamp!
- No gravy fries on the menu, but just ask and they'll pour gravy on your fries for you. Grab a fork.
- Meg MertzJuly 5, 2017Boudin balls are out if this world! Love the decor with the wooden faces of celebrities!
- Gambit New OrleansJuly 6, 2011Head to Cooter Brown's to watch the game! Stocked with TVs and a feasting menu of po-boys, burgers and fried goodness--not to mention plenty of beer--you can't go wrong.
- Lears FoolSeptember 22, 2013Meat pies, raw oysters, and shrimp poboy: Saints Football Trinity. One of the best sports bars on the planet.
- Kim ShofstahlSeptember 18, 2017New ownership - wonderful upgrade and game day atmosphere! Service fast and thorough!!!
- Matt GentryApril 22, 2010This place is great and has the NHL Center Ice package. One of the few places we were able to find in New Orleans to watch NHL games. Beer selection is awesome and food is good too.
- Glenn BarnettOctober 26, 2023I want to like CB’s - I read the reviews & the menu, trip #1 is OK, 2nd trip is questionable and you finally figure out the food is bad & the vibe of the people that run the place is f$&@ off. Wow.
- Susannah Clemons BicknellJune 9, 2012Great place to watch sports, and drink beer! They have decent food too. Great atmosphere...I love Cooter Browns!
- James PoppFebruary 28, 2015Being 2000 miles away from Chicago, the Chicago dog is surprisingly inauthentic. Still a good place
- kelli bagginsJune 8, 2012Great bar for beer!! I miss this place! Go during the day to avoid hipster frat boys. Eat, Drink, & be Merry!!!
- Justin BoswellDecember 26, 2012po boys are bomb, classic shrimp of course. get NOLA Hopitoulas if its on tap

- Gambit New OrleansSeptember 2, 2011
- TheaSeptember 10, 2011Hate the name, hate the frat clientele, but love the poboys. Try the fried shrimp poboy, with cheese fries on the side.
- The only place that has a buffalo sauce I like. Wings are spicy and awesome.
- A must see if you're in NOLA. Get the alligator sausage and a Woodchuck Pear Cider. Yum!
