For a relatively cheap place with ample space and good drinks, I’m not complaining. For the Seaport, it’s definitely a good option. Put this restaurant anywhere else though, and we’d keep on walking.
On Taco Tuesdays you can score 2 tacos + a frozen marg for only $10.... Find me better value than that in NYC and I'll let you name my first born. No frills, good value and good times.
Fun and relaxed. Never too crowded. Great place to grab drinks with friends (esp the frozen margaritas). Always has a friendly atmosphere, maybe it's the Christmas lights. Or Canadian flags.
This place has got inexpensive shots. Their shrimp tacos are well done. I would go back here with a group of friends and have their mystery shots. Inexpensive place in Seaport, NY
I was surprised by the variety of choices. The menu is rich and the service is good. The food was good. However, I had higher expectations about the taste and was a bit disappointed.
The frozen margarita is amazing according to my friends. GET THE NACHOS - so good. The shrimp tacos were OK, could have more flavour. V slow service though and u should reserve if you can!
The FiDi building that houses Cowgirl Sea-Horse has one hell of a history. Dating back to 1807, it was once a flower market, Radio Mexico, and one of the first on record to be owned by a black man.
So obsessed w cowgirl seahorse! The black eyed pea salsa is amaze so is the guac and the veggie quesadillas and please have the chicken verde enchiladas!!!! To die for!!!
The cozy little sister of Cowgirl in the village, this spot under the Brooklyn Bridge has delicious fish tacos and $4 margs at Happy Hour! Also $2 Taco Tuesdays.
The "all chopped up" salad with chicken is amazing. Also the whiskeypork chops and fish tacos, black eye peas salsa, ...really everything!!! Come here!! Service is amazing!!!
Try the refreshing $5 margaritas during happy hour – with their chips and salsa. The music is a little loud for conversation, so probably not a good first date restaurant.
Went for lunch. Nice enough place but be warned the $9 fish tacos would struggle to fill a cat and taste predominantly of tortilla. I was told its a bigger portion at dinner. Corn dog was good though.
