A list of fine establishment's ordered from a.m. (breakfast), Noon (Tourist activities, including historic places, Beaches and "it's 5:00 somewhere"), evening (sunset & dining) and sleep (hotels.)
Dan Murphy: There's no better way to see the island than on a bike (like a local.) Aside from the White House, Hemingway's Home, etc. go up and down the streets between Duval and White on the North side.
Dan Murphy: For those staying at the Westin's Sunset Key property, this is as good as it gets. The property allows Westin KW patrons to pay for the ferry and stay on the very private beach all day.
Dan Murphy: I've never seen sunset hear - I usually see the sun going down over Sunset Key.Bleachers? Really? This is no way to watch sunset - with all due respect.
Dan Murphy: Best place to watch the sunset in Key West (on land!) If you can get into Fort Zachary Taylor and head out to the pier (head west to the beach and go north.) Bring your cooler and kick back!
Dan Murphy: Best view of the Atlantic Ocean (Louie's Backyard.) In a Victorian home with seats tiered so everyone has a view. The deck bar doesn't stink.
Dan Murphy: Want a free ride to Sunset Key? Make a reservation and travel out to a better view of the Sunset than you'll have at Mallory Square. The food will be pricey, but it's an incredible view of NW KW FL
Dan Murphy: My second favorite place to stay (because Sunset Key Guest Cottages are a tad pricey!) And you can pay for the Ferry to their private beach!
