- Michal BubernikMay 15, 2019They let you taste the beer, if you are not sure what would you like to drink. And that is great, because they have many nice beers on tap. Great place, friendly staff!
- DaniFebruary 10, 2015Good selection of craft beer on tap including stuff from the local Kernel brewery. Food was also nice. Pretty crowded on a Saturday evening, not sure if it was the rugby or that's what its always like
- Graham RoseMay 10, 2015A wide range of cask and craft. Very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. See the chalk boards if you fancy something different to your usual. Also check out the pic at the bottom of the stairs!
- If you want a pub with good beer that also shows sports, this is a good one to visit. Cosy place with food and plenty of beer from local breweries.
- Best local pub in the area, great selection of beers on draft and the food is above average.
- Tucked away just far enough from the tourist trail on Shad Thames, The Dean Swift has a great selection of craft beers and really friendly staff. Perfect pub to while away a few hours.
- Carrie-Anne HMay 7, 2016Pulled lamb is amazing, nothing but fantastic beers on tap. Don't be fooled by the scotch egg reviews, not THAT good. But everything else is so good it's worth a visit.
- Mario RojasAugust 15, 2012We are so lucky to have just moved to SE1 and been recommended this gem by the brewers at Kernel. Amazing food, amazing beer, beautiful spot. Will absolutely come back here often.
- Leo C.February 15, 2016An excellent craft beer pub. Tucked away from the maddening crowds at nearby Tower Bridge, it's a good place to rest your feet.
- Alex CourtFebruary 22, 2015Sweet potato gnocchi sounded intriguing so went for it....Delicious and filling. We booked a table for 12 and we were looked after very well.
- Mark HeyertJanuary 27, 2023Awesome food. Best fish & chips in London and creative small plates too. The chorizo in cider was excellent.
- Kevin DulinMay 13, 2017Lovely pub with great beers. The chimmichurri burger was a bit bland lacking spice however.
- David O'NeillJune 9, 2015Stopped in here for a bite to eat and to warm up after watching the marathon. Really accommodating staff, good food and decent choice of beers.
- Andrew GriffinDecember 23, 2018The scotch egg is maybe the best I’ve ever had. Great fish and Chips. Fun atmosphere away from tourists

- Paul HadfieldJune 16, 2013Loads of good beer here - British micro and international - and a tasty food menu. Helpful friendly staff too.
- DocumentallySeptember 2, 2016Beautiful building, lack of attention and knowledge from barman Rowan might mean you have a less than enjoyable experience. Dirty lines.
- A.October 15, 2011Great little pub with good selections of beers and a half decent place to watch a game but the vegetarian options on the otherwise good menu leave much to be desored
- Nicholas TinsleyOctober 19, 2014Steak was excellent, appreciated the simple food presentation and friendly service!
- Betony KellyJanuary 4, 2015Bring a board game and a thirst for great craft ales and grab the corner table.
- If you like traditional style pubs the Dean Swift is the place to be. It just re-opened after being remodeled. Great staff, relaxed atmosphere, and interesting people to meet.
- Great local bar for us... Tasty food and great micro brewery beers on tap.
- Best scotch egg in London. It's made with Venison ffs.
- All Sunday roasts are good but the sauce for the chicken (free range corn fed I find out) is in another league.
- Ask them to re-establish the 1666 burger with scotch Bonnet and fried egg!
- Get the burger... its amazing ... oh and a pint of Stigel :)
