for vegetarians, the egg salad, falafel, or a cheese/avocado sandwich are all great options. board sauce and stadium mustard are 👍🏽

Best sandos in SF but you will pay out the wazoo for the pleasure. The hot sauces are also bomb!
Don't fret about deciding amongst the huge selection. Make sure yours has pastrami + brisket + pepperoncini spread + some sort of cheese. You can't go wrong. If they have the JT, you have to get it.

Jenn ChenJanuary 26, 2021Be prepared to wait a bit. Incredible pastrami, also a fan of the Tenenbaum on Dutch Crunch. Board sauce is phenomenal with their house fries.- Don't forget, you can always mix-and-match meats (e.g. brisket + pastrami, or brisket + pastrami + salami). They'll proportion the sandwich correctly so it's just the right amount of overwhelming.
Everything is delicious but what's special about Deli Board are the Romanian pastrami and corned beef from Cleveland. Get a sando with either -- or both! -- and you'll be richly rewarded.

You're going to question why you're paying $15+ for a sandwich, but no matter what you choose, it's money well spent. The Kuip and the Ron are my current favorites, but menu changes frequently.

AliceNovember 14, 2023Get the 49er and 555. Absolutely amazing sandwiches in an unfortunate area. Saw a lot of people bike here, grab their sandos and bike away- Deli Board does man sandwiches and two meal salads. You really can't go wrong here and ALWAYS check the daily specials board.
- The $$$ is the best sandwich I've ever had. Hands down. Though you really can't go wrong with any sandwich on this menu.

So happy to have a quality sandwich shop in the neighborhood. This place is excellent. Service is very friendly too. They play tunes on vinyl too which is such a cool idea.
Not all items on the board last forever. Try as many as you can because they're all good. Mind the daily specials as well.

Make your own BLT. It's okay that they dont have tomatoes. Avocado, sprouts, pickled onion, pepperocini and board sauce and you are a happy, happy camper.

Best hot sandwiches in the city. They change frequently but anything with brisket and spicy peppers is my favorite.
If there's a line out the door, best bet is to get a salad, soup, or their special appetizers instead of a sandwich.
Best sandwiches in San Francisco? Definitely close. One sandwich is good for two meals. If you like tuna try the Fatty Matty: it has everything in it.
They need an alias for my usual custom combo: smoked brisket on Dutch crunch with muenster cheese, board sauce and lettuce

Killer pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, get there before noon to avoid the rush. Don't forget the pickle!
